Happy Sunday everyone! :goodvibes

Congrats on not having to be induced Dani! I hope things are going well for you.

Congrats on DVC MissLiz!!! :cool1:

So is it just me or can everyone just see an "x" instead of their DIS tickers? It's been like that for days. I want to see my tickers!!!!

Wow! I missed a lot this weekend!!!

Congrats on the baby coming, Dani!!!! And without having to be induced!!!!

Welcome to all the new people on the thread! It's great to see it growing.

So, I have news for everyone. Yesterday we did it! We are now the proud owners of DVC!!!!!! After a lot of thought, we decided on AKV!!!!

Of course, that meant cancelling our room only reservation and booking with points, but we got AKV for 9/16-9/19 savannah view and we got BLT for 9/19-9/23 with a lake view!!!!

We had to lose club level and Magic Kingdom view, but it's so worth it!

It seems so surreal right now. But September will be our official first trip HOME!!!!!:banana::banana:

WTG !

Well, I have yet another change. I'm so excited! When our agent called Disney to cancel our AKL days he some how pulled strings to get 2 days of free dining on our Pop Century reservation extended!!!! It wasn't that we couldn't go for those 2 days, we just didn't want to pay the price of AKL plus the cost of food. I am SO excited! :dance3:

That is great news, now back to planning again :rotfl:

We are still a little in shock over here. Not bad shock, just the fact that we actually did it.

We did it all over the phone. It took about 15 minutes for the initial request and then we had to wait a little bit to get our member number so that we could process the booking.

I was really surprised at how easy it was!

That is awesome! BLT is our home resort and I love it. Watching the Wishes on the Top of the World is amazing. The beds are soooo comfy they are like sleeping on a cloud. :goodvibes We haven't stayed at AKV just but that's the one we want to next. Welcome Home!

I got to the hospital at 10 and sure enough I was in active labor with super strong contractions every 3 minutes or less. By 11:45 they got me in my room and it's been smooth sailing since! Got my epidural and took a nap and now I'm just waiting for her to be ready!

:lovestruc:lovestrucWow...so happy for you! I can't wait to hear all the details...love this live coverage!

I am so excited about Disney! I picked up a really cute tinkerbell necklace today!

Congrats on Labor!!! I had 2 inductions and had long difficult deliveries. I don't think anything to do with induction but hey I say when you can go natural...DO It!! LOL Can't wait to hear about the little Disney Princess's birth!!!

I posted my ADR thoughts a few pages back, just wondering besides CRT which is hardest to get??

Well hope everyone had a great Sunday....I woke up to snow...aarrgghhh I want it gone!!

We'll be there 9/6-9/17, at the Contemporary Tower, Bay Lake View. Doing the MNSSHP on 9/13. It will be me, my daughter (who will be 12 by then) and my Mom, who will be celebrating her 70th birthday! It's possible that we may do one night at Pop right before starting our Contemporary reservation. I'm very excited!

From your list, generally Chef Mickey's and Ohana's can be hard to get. Akershus can be hard as well, although I suspect you may have an easier time with breakfast? I know we've been there for dinner which was booked solid. Hopefully that helps!

I know that I've asked this queston before but I had very little response....it's about ADR"s.......we really want to eat in HS or really close by...I have tried Mama Melrose and was disappointed and 50's isn't might type of food....but I have read so many awful things about Sci-Fi...we are on DDp and I like to use my credits to their full potential (like tutto italia and teppan edo!!!!) I don't even know what is close by to HS (we want to spend most of the evening there and not 1 1/2 communting back and forth) :confused3 HELP!

I wish I could tell you. I keep seeing many people saying DHS doesn't really have a good TS restaurant. We only ate a CS lunch there last time.

I keep hearing the burgers & shakes are really good at Sci-Fi. Though I'm torn because while I'd like to try that, I'm leaning toward Mama Melrose late lunch *only* for the fantasmic package.

BTW, where-abouts in Ontario area you? I'm Durham region, east of Toronto.

The only time I was not disappointed with a TS at DHS was when we ate at the Brown Derby. It took an extra TS but it was worth it.

Yeah Dani! I'm glad she decided to make her appearance on her own!

to the new baby!

Missliz and Millermom, congrats on DVC! How exciting!

Michelle, most of your ADRs shouldn't be difficult to get. If it were me I would try it in this order: CRT, Chef Mickeys, Tusker House, Akershus and Ohana bfast.

Pinkle, we love Scifi. It isn't the best use of a TS credit, but its always been good. We have tried Mama Melrose and it was just okay. You could take the boat or walk to the Epcot area resorts. Maybe Cape May Clambake or Kouzzina. I haven't eaten at either, we are trying Cape May Clambake on this trip.

Momof2Disneyboys, I'm seeing red x's on some signatures and not on others.:confused3 I want to see mine too!

I enjoyed the Brown Derby, which is 2 TS credits, but also has the Fantasmic package option. I have heard mixed reviews on Sci Fi, I think if you stick to diner type food, like burgers etc, it is fine.

My princess is here! She was born at 5:01 after one and a half pushes! She's 8 lbs 5 oz and 20 inches and a perfect doll. the only thing they had to do was break my water when I got to 9 cm, but other than that I did it on my own!

Wow, that's amazing! I pushed for 3 hours for my first child and 2 hours for my second. I couldn't even imagine only 1.5 pushes!
