September 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Hey Mike,

Unfortunately, a 9/25 lunch doesn't work for me (we just got airfare and wont' be arriving until later on 9/25). That being said, if they have a party of 5, it will be harder for them to find a date/time/party size that works for them. Please go ahead and give it to them, and I'll hope for a 2 or 3 seat cancellation over the next few days.

I tried replying to your private message but I do not have enough posts on this forum to do so yet.

I got a request from someone else who is a party of 5 that wants my 9/27 Le Cellier Lunch. I noticed that there is a post from "MAYS" stating that he/she has a 9/25 lunch reservation for 4 at Le Cellier for you (mays51097@aol.com). If you are interested/able to take the reservation from MAYS on 9/25, then I can give my reservation on 9/27 to accomodate the family of 5 so that everyone gets what they are looking for. If the 9/25 lunch reservation from MAYS does not work for you, let me know and you can still have mine for 9/27 since you were first to ask.

I had a 5:45 dinner ADR at LTT for 9/30 for a party of 9 that I just modified to a party of 4. I would imagine that would release a 6 top for that time period if anyone is interested.

Minor emergency. My wife, brother and I set up dinner reservations for Boma on 9/20 at 5:05. Well, we just found out his girlfriend is coming with us and we need an extra spot. I just called and they claimed they can't seat a fourth person. Does anyone have a reservation for around that time for 4 that they are willing to part with? I've this reservation for 3 months now and I hate to lose it. It seems really dumb then when there's already 3, they can't seat a fourth. Thanks.

This may seem risky but... I had the same problem with a Chef Mickeys reservation and I just decided to open two windows in my internet browser and had one set to cancel my res and the other to QUICKLY nab it with 1 more adult. It worked for me even though I had called earlier and was told they couldn't add another person. If it doesn't work you could still quickly grab it with the original amount of people. Hope you end up getting what you want! Good luck!

I'm sorry, I know it doesn't help you now, but just as a disclaimer to all others trying this, it's best to do this late at night, or at least when the phone lines are closed. During the day time, the system is super active.

I wish I had what you were looking for Is there another day you'd be willing to go there, or adjust the time maybe. It may open up more options.

Well, I ended up with reservations for Kouzzina. My wife, and as it turns out, my brother's girlfriend, are both big Cat Cora fans, so we found a fortunate fallback. So..

NOBODY PANIC!

If anyone does cancel Boma on 9/20 at around 5:30, please let me know. That's still our first choice.
