Pop is Pop century it is one of the value resorts.

I have 2 boys 7 and 3.
We are doing Mickey not so scary halloween on the 16th. This will be our first time. Every year we decide not to go because of the cost, but then I see everyone dressed up and wish I was going too. This year we decided to just spend the money and go. Every one on the boards says it is a lot on fun.. We are all exicted even hubby. We are all going to dress up. Undecided on our costumes.
this will be are 4th year with free dining. You will love it. We get the basic plan and always have more than enough food. Have fun planning. And maybe I will see you there.

oh ok.. i thought thats what pop meant lol. we wanted to go there but got stuck with all star music.. which bums me out because our friends are at pop ;/ oh well.

WE ARE ALSO DOING THE MNSSHP ON THE 16TH! also our first time doing it! we have ressies at liberty tavern for the character dining that night too! i'm super stoked! i also do not know what to do with costumes.. i'm hoping dd goes with a pirate theme..easy to pack. this will be our 2nd time doing the dp, last time was 05 and did the regular dp this time we are doing the ddxp(only had to pay the diference between the 2,since they are doing the dp for free). as you can tell i'm beyond excited!! probably more than dd lol dw is my happy place after all!

oh yea I forgot.

We stayed at All star music last year. I really liked it we had alot of fun. but if you want to stay at POP w/ your friends, keep calling and trying to change. I had all star sports at first and pop was sold out but I was able to change. I guess people canceled and some rooms became available. Just keep trying.

No. That is something that I haven't researched yet.
here are my plans, so far.
We are leaving on Friday the 12th and driving to N Carolina ( DH bf lives there) We will leave early Sun morning and drive to disney. I hope to get there by 5pm. Sun we have nothing planned maybe downtown disney. The boys love the Lego store.
Mon we are going to Epcot. I scheduled lunch at the Coral Reef. This is are first time to go there. I usually do the garden grill (one of my favs) but we wanted to do something different this year.
Tues. we are hanging at the hotel during the day. Then 5pm dinner at chef mickey and mnsshp
Wed back to the magic kingdom. 4pm dinner at liberty tavern
Thurs. hang at hotel and fort wilderness. Maybe go for a boat ride. We got ressie for hoop dee doo at 5pm and plan to do campfire sing a long at 8pm
Fri go home we will drive back to n carolina maybe hit a disney outlet store on the way. and on sunday head towards Pgh. (are you cheering for the pens or phillyS?)

My kiddies are dd 7 and ds just turned 2(in april)

this is how our trip is looking so far
leave saturday the 13th after dh gets home from work (probably 6-7ish) drive straight through(alternating driving between myself and dh..but mostly him im sure) hopefully arrive at the resort by 3pmSunday the 14th(never drove there before..not sure what to expect)

*sunday 14th-dinner at cinderellas royal table/magic kingdom for a bit maybe?? but will probably just come back to room to get good rest after the long drive.

*Monday15th-Boma for breakfast, then do animal kingdom, then dinner at whispering canyon, not sure what to do after dinner since its a 5:15 dinner

*Tuesday16th-Breakfast at chef mickey's,magic kingdom(prolly head back for anap too..maybe), mnsshp, and character dinner at liberty tree tavern

*Wed17th- Playhouse disney breakfast at hollywood and vine,stay there for the whole day, dinner at 50's prime time

*Thurs18th- Princess breakfast at akershurs,roam epcot, dinner at coral reef

*Fri19th- Breakfast at 1900 park fare, wonderland tea party for dd in aftertoon at 1900 parkfare, dinner at narcooses

*Sat20th-Breakfast at crystal palace, maybe roam ak or mk..maybe downtown ..idk yet, then dinner at 5 at the hoop de doo musical review

*Sun21st- We leave But only after a fun breakfast and perhaps a quick trip downtown or park?? then a bunch of crying/whining from me because i don't want to go home lol

This is the plan as of now.. hopefully we can stick to it pretty well!

After you have dinner at whispering cannon ( one of my favorites, lots of fun) you could go to the campfire singalong at fort wilderness. I am not sure what time the singalong starts but I think the movie starts a 8pm. It is a free event. But if you want to roast marshmellows they are expensive but you could bring your own. We went 2 years ago and are going back this year. It was alot of fun I think chip and dale were the characters. Last yr after wc we rented speed racer boats. That was fun too.

It is FREE!!! And open to anyone staying on disney property.

You have to take a bus back to the camp ground area. I think meadows trading post area. If you ask when you leave wc they should be able to give you good info. I did google disney campfire sing along and got some info at a site called buildabettermousetrip.com They have a list of the movies for May so I am sure they will put up Sept list before we leave.

FYI Last year at asmusic they had activitys every night around the pool. I dont know if they will still being doing this or not this year. But last year there was dance partys, bingo, triva games and a movie screen set up for nightly movies. It was alot of fun to and right at your hotel. Be sure to check the activitys when you get there.

As soon as we came home last year I started planning this years vacation. I love to make it a little different each year. If I don't DH will get bored. When I hear family or neighbors say they are going to disney , I start planning there trip. my DH thinks I should be travel agent. Disney is all I talk about. I love these boards I learn something new everyday. We are thinking about taking a cruise next May. I don't know much about the cruises. So I have to start researching. i think you and i may be long lost sisters lol! down to the no vacations as a child... which is exactly why these trips are so important to me now.. i def want this to be our tradition, and for my kids to have the best memories of it ad want t do it with their fams and hopefully always invite me lol. and i also am always planning trips for people..that and kids b-day parties! dh says i should be a party/event planner lol.

and lucky you, i'd love to go every year but we just cant swing it.. i've been planning this trip for over 2 years

and thats a no to the cruise, but def on my list of things to do! what do you all do for a living, thats what i wanna do

Less than 4 months! YAY! September 6th - 13th! Hoping for very low crowd levels with mid-range temperatures. I'm not asking for much, right?

Saturday Sept 6th - Arrive at POR take boat to DTD for Wolfgang Puck Pizza!

Sunday Sept 7th - AK - Dinner at Boma

Monday Sept 8th - Epcot - Segway tour - Dinner at Coral Reef

Tuesday Sept 9th - MK - Dinner at 1900 Park Fare - MNSSHP!!!

Wednesday Sept 10th - HS/Free day - Dinner at Ragland Road

Thursday Sept 11th - HS/Free day - Dinner at Les Chef de France

Friday Sept 12th - Epcot - Dinner at Tokyo Dining

Saturday Sept 13th - Departure - Breakfast at Captain's Grille
