September 2008 waitlist?

Nope--there are at least two of us. I've also been on the waitlist for about a month for a studio at BCV or BWV for 9/12-15.

I've been on the waitlist for studio at BCV since April for Sept 11-15 with no luck. Have studio at AKV so at least have a room.

That's just amazing and only for 4 nights! At least you have AKV! Still bites, though. Here's some pixie......there's still hope!

Ouch! That stinks I am on the waitlist until 7 days out, so I will keep hoping! The CM I talked to today said you would be surprised how many members cancel within 30 days and the points go into holding.

Holy Sassafracks, Batman-my waitlist came through!!
Now what do I do? I am used to OKW and requests, now are my requests too late??? What do I request? Is the BW going to be crowded??? I am going down uncharted waters...what did I do?

Just an update-my waitlist did come through but for preferred view! I wasn't supposed to be waitlisted for that. Now they borrowed more points than I wanted! I had specifically wanted only standard view waitlisted so the point difference from my OKW ressie was not that different. I was trying to save points for a short trip next year.

What are you gonna do? Are you going to keep the preferred view?

I have been a little preoccupied with my trip out to DL this weekend so I have not checked on my waitlist at all. I will give them a call tomorrow. I am ok staying at POFQ, but I just keep thinking if I can get a room on points, the money for POFQ would probably pay for all of our food while there - or an annual pass....

I'm bummed out that I still can't get a 2 bedroom concierge for the night of September 27th at AKL.
I have a 2 bedroom value room reserved but that means checking in and checking out the next days since we have 5 nights at AKL concierge starting on the 28th.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something will open up for us soon.

Well I called on Sunday and they admitted error, place me on "Priority" waitlist for standard studio at BW or OKW, and will return points if waitlist comes through. I think if the waitlist comes through and I return to OKW, I will never waitlist again because this fiasco! It will prob cost me 12 points which could've been another night next year.

Jenny sorry that happened to you and I hope that OKW or BW standard come in for you.

I called and checked on my WL yesterday and still nada. My DH and I decided a 1 bedroom anywhere would be better than a regular hotel room (we are such snobs!!) and I was able to book SSR. I really preferred OKW because I have never stayed in a one bedroom there, but they only had 2 nights available. I am still on the WL for a 1 bedroom at BWV, BCV, VWL and AKV.

famsen: The good thing about going to concierge is that you'll be able to use the lounge even if your 2 br isn't ready. And since there are only 5, and they may be in different configurations (1br, studio) I'm not suprised your WL hasn't cleared. I'd just check things with Bell Services, head to a park, and return when you wish to the 6th floor.
