September 2008 price with VH?

I got a online quote from VH for 14 nights at All Star Music with Dining Plan and tickets for 2 adults and 1 child and the price was £3940.00!!
Is this a lot for september?

I think it's very expensive. Have you thought about booking a fly drive then booking the room direct with Disney?

Yes, I think i will have to have a look around, it costs more than the package we have booked in feb(which includes half term) staying at AKL, I thought september was supposed to be a cheaper time to go.

Just a thought but are the flights econ or PE? I know that someone had mentioned that only PE was availablle on line for 2008 for some weird reason

econ flights are now added, not all the hotels are though for some reason, and they are not adding the 5% online discount for some reason. Though even with the 10% FC discount it is still a lot of money. I guess I will wait a few months and see if they come down a bit, or try First Choice when there prices are out.

I'm getting very frustrated with VH website - I want to book a Fly-Drive for May 2008 and it keeps saying there are no flights but, if I go through the motions to book a normal package, there are flippin' loads! I hope I don't have to call 'em...

Just priced all star resort with ddp and tickets, for 2ad and 1ch, middle of august i nearly fell off my seat well over £4000.

ive done a bit of checking but need someone to check my findings in case ive gone wrong somewhere because to the remit i am about to put down i am finding it cheaper next year??? must be doing something wrong

virgin holidays
dates 08/08/07 for 14 days and 06/08/08 for 14 days
econ car prepaid for both dates
nothing else at this time

can someone else do some comparisons and see what their results are

I've booked a fly drive with TCD departing 26/07/08 for 3 adults and 1 child with pre booked seats, double baggage allowance and a full size 4 door car all for £2759 and I'm well pleased with the price.

15 nights pop & 5 nights Royal Pacific
for 2 adults 1 teen = £3500
I thought it was ok but have never booked school holls before, do you think i got an ok deal????

Wow that price seems really over the odds wideyes, I know they have to factor in price increases in hotel etc but still! Me and bf are paying £2600 for 2 weeks at POFQ with tickets and car hire included for this September (we have free dining but it wouldn't have made it over 3 grand if we'd had to pay for that)
