Last year, I booked at All Star Movies... but when free dining came out there were no rooms available there... so my Ressie got changed to Pop... We loved it there... soooo this year we booked Pop again... I hope I don't have to switch resorts!!! Problem is this year we have 2 rooms.. and friends that are joining us and want to stay in same resort.... so that makes 3 rooms!

Anyone with any knowledge about which resorts seem to sell out the fastest with free dining? Also, any resorts that never seem to have rooms for the Free dining promotion, or a very limited amount of rooms?

thats why I want to wait until its released then book. I have to book 3 rooms cause there are 8 of us .. i hope thats not going to be a problem? I wont be picky as to where we stay...Im flexible,,,for free dining =P

Does anyone know the date its usually released to the public?????

Because it is such a fabulous deal at the Values, they are harder to get. Also I know the WL was hard to get last year.

It all depends on what rooms they have open, and you should keep trying for your 1st choice as some people book this deal as a 'maybe' trip and then later cancel when the reality of pulling kids out of school hits them.

Last year Disney Visa holders got a two day advance booking period and many resorts were sold out, or nearly sold out after that. There are a lot of us that have a Disney Visa just so we can get in on this deal.

I guess the important thng for me is knowing the day it will be released. I am not a card holder but my sister is, she would have to call and book. Im the one who usually does the booking and planning.. so i need to have everythign written down so she knows EXACTLY what to say when she calls.
gahh so stressful

Guess what? My DisSis got a PIN code! :yay: We almost passed out :faint: we were so excited! :chat:

So, she got it in the mail on Saturday, and we called first thing this morning and got BWV with the code, which is better than BC with free dining, even though we really wanted BCV, I think BWV will be just wonderful. Now I have to get all excited :hyper: about a different resort AGAIN... ;)

first it was the Poly, then the BC now the BWV! :wizard: Yay!

Now maybe when free dining does come out, the BCV will be offered... oooh! we could change our ressie AGAIN!:rotfl:

what week are you guys going???

I thought I read somewhere that if Disney offers free dining in September that it is only good at a moderate or deluxe resort stay. We were contemplating staying at All Star Music. Is it true that we could not get free dining if it was offered because we were staying at a value resort?

Elizabeth

In the fall of 2007, when Disney allowed the UK to sign up for free DDP 2008, they HAD to book Moderates and up, no Values.

Until then, WDW had always allowed Values under the free DDP, and did allow those of us doing the free DDP bounceback in 2008 to book Values.

It will be interesting to see if the Moderates and up is extended to US residents booking the free dining as well (if it is indeed offered).

I need to add a day to my ressie, but am afraid to do it too soon and then miss FD if it's offered. OH! I just don't know what to do! :confused3

I don't understand this problem. Why does the possibility of free dining mean you can't add a day to your ressie now? You may choose to adjust dates when/if FD is announced, but what reason do you have for not making a change now? There are no change penalties this far out to room-only ressies or package ressies.

What kind of code is it? It may be a better deal than free dining, so I would see what the difference is (you can only do one or the other)
