nope, it's one or the other. You have to decide if free DDP or the code gives you the most benefit.

I was thinking that myself and am so happy that we were offered the
Bounceback while at WDW. There was a long thread at the Beginning of 2007 on Dis about
maybe FD. I found out offically about FD thru my Disney Visa Email notice and booked last year in early
April. Made ADRs right away. It is worth it to have a DV because of 1st
notice for Special like this.

That's a great point. I will be curious to see how it pans out. The last few years, the free dining promotion has come out in April.

All booked for 30 August to 9 September. I paid in full, in advance, as I am from Australia and the exchange rate was so good a couple of months ago I had to take the opportunity while it was there.

Would love to get FD or even discount so could upgrade to a Moderate.

I am bringing my Mum for her 60th Birthday - it's only fair - she took me to DLR for my 30th!

Feel like I am wishing my life away - but can not wait until I August/September rolls around!

I wasn't there in person to book a bounceback, and I never got a code. I'm hoping for a free dining offer. We'll probably have to wait until the end of March or beginning of April to see if free dining will be offered.

Several people have been receiving postcards/emails with a chance to get 40% off room only on select dates.

Sometimes the CM's have been known to say "you are receiving 30-40% off your dining" which means by doing the dining plan you could be saving 30-40% off your food compared to NOT doing the dining plan.

Aas far as I know there is not a general code right now. You could call back and ask for your package to be broken down for you. You could also ask if you have a savings code attached to your household to get the room only discount.

we were there sept 17-23rd 2007 with free dining and it was great. I regret not booking bounceback, a friend of mine did book it so she is in for sure.
We are hoping to go again sept 22-28th with free dining and a room code (if thats possable).

I just booked a 10 day package w/ the 40% deal - I got the post card.
wondering if there is a limit for how many days you can get free dinning... like is it only for 7 day trips? I saw the bounce back info someone posted and that only stated a couple options, & none were a 10 day.
So basically if I did my math right, if they have free dinning again, I would save $531.7 more than the 40% off discount.. so that would be better.

so another question.. if you book now w/ that 40% deal and free dinning comes out can you change which discount you use?

Free dining is bookable for up to 14 days ..

You can change to free dining later provided that Free Dining is available at your resort and for your dates.. otherwise you might have to be flexible on one or both of those items. (resort/dates)
