We are hoping for free dining also!! Already booked the Poly Sept 12-20!! It will be our 1st trip for our 17 month old - of course by then she will be 2 already!!
I thought I read somewhere that if Disney offers free dining in September that it is only good at a moderate or deluxe resort stay. We were contemplating staying at All Star Music. Is it true that we could not get free dining if it was offered because we were staying at a value resort?

How was the crowds and lines and weather when you were there in September? Where did you stay and how late were the parks open? Thanks
The crowds were not bad at all when we were there in September. We were there during the week arriving on a Sunday and leaving on a Saturday. It was around 80-85 degrees most of the week but it wasn't too bad. It was humid though and we had a few downpours but it wasn't a continuous rain. The one evening a storm did go through and the Spectromagic parade was cancelled.
The lines weren't bad at all. I don't think we waited more than 20 minutes for any ride. We were there in Nov. of 06 and the lines were much worse. The weather was better but the crowds weren't. It was over the Super soap weekend so that might have had something to do with it.![]()
The hours for Sept. were Animal Kingdom 9:00-5:00, Magic Kingdom 9:00-8:00, Epcot Future World 9:00-7:00 and Epcot World Showcase 11:00-9:00. We didn't go to MGM this time so I am not sure what the hours there were.
We stayed at the All Star Music both visits and really liked the resort. If you stay at a Disney resort you can also take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours.
I hope that helps.![]()
