Jilly is doing better today but still in pain but not as much but we noticed last night that he toes were bleeding(not bad) from the cast thing so we cut the toes out a bit to help and I will be calling her vet tomorrow to see what else i should do. Thanks for asking. Yes last night was much better sleep for all of us. YEAH only 19.5 days left

We are trying this new place a just a few minutes from our home and we called her yesterday and let her know what had happen and she said please don't board our dogs bring them to me I will take care of them. Its in her house and we checked her out and she is above board and no complaints about her its in her house and there is only 5 dogs total that she has at one time so this works perfect. I can see we will be doing A LOT of calling back home just to see how she is doing.

Poohbear I feel your pain. I noticed this morning that my dog is limping. I looked at the bottom of her paw and half of her pad is missing. I tried to wrap it up and she keeps ripping it off. The bad part is our whole house is stairs so whenever she has to go out DH has to lift her and she is no light dog(75+lbs).

This has never happened before so I dont even know if it will grow back or what. I am going to call the vet in the morning. She keeps licking it and making it worse. If it is not something going wrong with our house its the dog. Luckily I dont have to board her she is going to stay with my brother for a week. I arrive in WDW on the 8th and stay at CBR and arrive at POP on the 10. When I wanted to add days to my free dining I could not get all my days at POP so I had to split my stay. Tomorrow starts the teen digit dance

Poohbear67, one of my former 4-Hers runs an animal boarding service. It sounds as if you have a good situation there. There are a few stinkers who are in for the bucks and they stack 'em high but it is a wise person and a caring one who keeps it to a number they can really care for.

crzykid, I bet you feel badly cause you did not notice the injury before. We always have so much guilt but there is no way that we can do everything. I hope things heal quickly before you and your hubby need back surgery.

Looks like Glendamax and I are the stepchildren as it seems as if everyone else is staying at POP. Heck, if I had known there was going to be so much fun over there I might have tried to switch resorts! I am signed up for 3 meets so I will be there a lot anyway. Anyone bringing children bring a book or two and I will read to them. That is my thing.

oh how aweful. Do you have an emergency vet around? i would thing about taking your dog there, is it bleeding??? is your baby in any pain??? I am so like a over worrier sorry. Please let us know how your baby is doing tomorrow after you see or talk with your vet.

It's too late now- but if something crazy like this ever happens again- run out and at least purchase an E-collar from Petsmart or Petco. It will keep your baby from licking at her paw until you can see the vet- or any other body part! I've never heard of a dog ripping their pad off- I hope your baby is okay!!!

Us- my breeder is watching my Bernese Mountain Dog pup and my Mom is taking care of the rest of our crew. Grrr- it should be pretty interesting!

I also saw a couple of blow up monkey's at Party City yesterday. Dont know if they are the same size as the ones at oriental trading.

I cant wait I am in the teens now.
