I am not as savvy as many of you in putting pictures and stuff up so you will have to click the link but this is in response to the person who said she had not even had time to pack her poor little doggie.

BTW, I just bought two of those carts like ant is showing at Office Max. They were on sale and hold up to about 80 pounds. Since I am using them for my mobile library of children's books that I carry in my car I need something sturdy. The handtruck that I have been using takes up too much room and it is getting harder for me to lift it in and out. I once saw an elderly couple at DW that were unloading using a small handtruck though. Sure beat going and getting a cart and lugging it back though. My suitcases are on wheels.

In a rush today. Much to do, little time to do it in.

Happy Labor Day!!!

Getting ready for my BBQ at the Park... The tribe were not even aware about it... I planned it about 30 minutes before I went to bed so nobody would be requesting anything but whatever I have on my menu as long as my nieces and nephews are feed am happy And I can say I did a pretty good job with the menu...

beef short ribs... marinated..
chicken wingettes... marinated
toss salad
steamed shrimp... a little peel your shrimp party is going to be happening
mixed fruits...
water and soda for beverage now ready in the cooler
corn on the cob
some Nathan's hotdog with cheese and buns...
chips and curls...
flavored brown rice and white rice (separate from each other)
badminton packed...
DS packed...
kites packed...
water guns packed...
blowing bubbles packed...
blanket packed...
XM radio packed...

Hmmm I think we're ready!!!

I will look for you and your dog. We will only be there for the last two days of your trip since ours is 9/13-9/23 but hope to see you then.

From what I have read on the dis from others who are there and booking bounce back I have 8/30 to 9/27 as the dates and it has to be booked while you are at your resort from an extension you call from the room or I believe at concierge but am unsure about the last part. It would be a $200 deposit that will have the usual refund or change policy for a package. It is 3 nights or longer with the MYW ticket. The new dining plan that does not include appetizer or tip is what you get (personally, I am bumming about the tip part which can add up but as for the appetizer it was too much food anyway). Personally, I am wondering if when codes come out it might be more of a savings to book a room only with AP and eat more counter service and have more time in the parks. HTH

crzykid, I am sorry you are under the weather but so glad that you chose to do it now instead of wasting days at DW. I was sick for three days, bed bound, last trip but since we were there for 3 weeks it did not hurt as much as it might have.

ANTSS2001, I used to do parties like that but not any more. Your family is lucky to have you to do it for them and I bet they appreciate it too!!

I have loads to do today and will only be dropping by when I am taking a rest before I drop over.

I hand carry it with me... when it folds it is only like bring a lap top then I added a strap so it is not bad at all.. by the time I get off the plane I open it and place my back pack so I really dont have to carry anything and it makes everything light weight

That's a really great idea. I might have to think about bringing mine. We'll see how things play out!

Sorry I cut it shorter... but I am JEALOUS of all the yummy stuff you get to have! I am wondering if next year we will go a bit later and take advantage of F&W. I need to ask my husband if he wants hotter and fewer crowds or a bit cooler and more crowds due to F&W!

I have only posted a few times ( sorry...busy with work and being a brand new Grandma !) but I'm looking forward to meeting everyone who'll be at Pop during our timeframe ( checking in Sept 5-15th). Not that you'll miss a lady in a power wheelchair with a service dog but we'll attach a lime green Mickey head tag on my chair and plan to be at one of the poolside meets. Otherwise hope everyone has a fantastic vacation! Now we'll all have to book the bounceback promo so we can look forward to this again in 2008!--Kathy ( and Skye)

Bounceback is SO tempting! I don't see how anyone could pass up eating for FREE! That's such a huge part of our vacations. Most of the "regular" places we go to, we have very specific places we like to go and things we MUST eat while we are there. Like in Ohio it's Marion's pizza (THE BEST pizza ever) and Subbies. Usually we get Subbies on our way from the airport to the house. Forget family, I need my Italian sub! So anyway, it's too good of a deal to pass up inmy opinion! Now I need to figure out if we stay on property the whole time and get a arental car to go to Universal, etc or if we split things up. Decisions, decisions!

Hi all,

I just wanted to say hi, since my dh and I will be there at the POP for year two of the free dining poppers. We are pretty easy to spot. I have a red powerchair with loads of Disney stickers and Tink seat cover, My Dh has a blue scooter with a ton of stickers on his, too. We met some of you last year, and hope to see you again.

I was wondering, for those of you who are going to book bounce back, have you decided when you will stay? Early Sept, or late?
