September 2 2007 Wonder Early Check In

I can't see this being a problem. Reservations were available for 1-2 person tables only. Like I said all but one time slot was available. Unless your heart is set on a specific time, I can't see that being a problem. Plus, you can always add it the day you arrive. I read on the boards that only 20-30% of the reservations are made available online.

Just remember - at least we get to go! I'd eat a Pluto's every night if I had to!
Gayle

Glad to see you are friendly with you mil .personally if we took mine on the cruise i might be tempted to push her overboard.lol.not kidding either:rotfl:

Hi Nikky- after spending the last 4-5 days with MIL at son's graduation I am tempted to push her overboard now. :rotfl2: I just have to ignore most of what she says. It's what my DH does when she talks. :cool1:

It's 88 days to go until DH & I leave for MCO.

OK gang! We're past the final payment date! It's finally getting close. We just booked our "night before" at the airport. Anyone getting final plans made?

Gayle

I made the final payment on Saturday. But I have had the before and after hotels booked for quite a while now.

Our only other DCL cruise we got upgraded to a Cat. 6. For cost reasons I booked a Cat 9 on this cruise and was feeling ok about it. A few moments ago I saw another family photo taken in front of the "large" stateroom porthole window. Yikes. I thought it would be bigger! Will we get clausterphobia??? Help!

Hey Gayle - we were in an 10 last year. DH is a little clausterphobic and he didn't have a bit of trouble. But it was just he and I and we didn't spend that much time in the room to notice how small it was. We also had inside staterooms so no windows for us. :)

Maybe you will be so relaxed or so exhausted (depending on what you are doing on the ship:rolleyes1 ) that you won't notice. :cloud9:

Hi everybody! We're on this cruise, too! It will be me, my dh, and my 2 dds (7 and 4). This is our fourth cruise on Disney, but the first time in a cat. 9. We usually just get 10s, so we're excited to have a window this time (although we'd be thrilled to pieces to have a verandah, so here's hoping for an upgrade!) Last week, my mom decided to join us, too! This is her first cruise, so I'm very excited for her! It'll be so much fun showing her all the ropes!

Suzi

Hi Suzi - It's just our 2nd cruise. We had such a good time and I guess we talked about it too much as we convinced MIL to come with us too. It didn't take much arm-twisting at all. :dance3:

Gayle -how did surprising your mom go? I bet it was fun!:goodvibes

Thanks for remembering that I was going to surprise my mom with the cruise! :cutie:

She was a little apprehensive to believe it was actually true. It probably didn't help that I was dancing around the room snapping random photos, while the "Shoreside Survival Kit" music was playing in the background! :cool1:

Here's my favorite photo:

I also gave her my Passporter with assigned reading. Luckily, this is cutting down on the massive amount questions she has. Now, if she would just calm down on what to wear to dinner... :sad2:

Tropical Greetings Fellow Cruisers!
DH 31 and I 29 will be cruising on the Wonder September 2nd as well. This is our 2nd Disney Cruise. Last year, our first, was a surprise for my Husband's 30th Birthday. I didn't tell him until we arrived at the port! This year it has been a lot easier, because we can plan this one together. We are located in Florida and visit The World almost every weekend. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask! Only about 68 days left!!!!

Heather and Jason :)

Gayle- What a nice surprise for your mom! How sweet of you! I bet she's excited!

Heather- We live in Orlando! We visit The World pretty often too!:) We're just Disney fanatics, I guess! But, there isn't too many places I'd rather be!:thumbsup2

Ok, Another fellow cruiser wants to say "Hi!"
MY DM, DSis and I are going on all girl cruise. We booked at cat 6 today.
Got late dining but since we are leaving the kids at home it is not too big of a deal.
Besides a few days away from the husbands and kids and jobs, we are going on this cruise so we can become Castaway Cay members before our Aug '08 Repo cruise. With all of the experienced cruisers on that one we could not get anything without it. This at least puts us on a level playing field.

Where is everyone staying the night before. We are leaning toward the Radisson but are checking all options.

Welcome aboard M&M!

We did Hotwire for the night before & will be at the Sheraton Suites at the airport. We wanted the Hyatt, but knew it was a longshot. The bonus is we have a suite with extra space now!

Gayle- Are you a Dr.? My DSis that is on this cruise is a Pediatric Radiologist.

Technically, yes, I am a Dr. However, mine is Doctor of Education (in Higher Education Leadership).

Just wanted to chime in! We are on the Sept. 2 Wonder cruise as well. This is our first ever cruise and we are excited!
It will be me, DH, and DS (9).
Has anyone else cruised in Sept? I was wondering if the ship fills up? Also, the water should still be nice and warm on cc right?

OK - there has got to be more of us out there. The count down is really heating up. 10 pounds to loose and just two months to go.
The new discounts for MYW pacikages for the end of August/September saved us a little bit of cash.
See you all soon!:cool2:

Yes, there are more of us! We have 2 different threads running for the Sept. 2 Wonder! How can we get together on the boards?! The rest of us are at: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1169351

We're staying at the Radisson the night before. We cruised last year at the same time and to tell you the truth I didn't notice how full the ship was. It was our first cruise with our best friends from Texas (Hey M&M - we used to live in Keller). The weather was overcast and it rained a little bit. We got sunburnt on CC even wearing sunscreen. The water was warm and relaxing. I am bringing watershoes this time. The bottom hurt our feet.

Happy 4th of July !!pixiedust:
