Welcome to the 'Wonder'ful Cruise to Alaska

This will be our 3rd Disney cruise (1st to Alaska) and it's me, DH, DD(7 at sailing) and DS(9, turning 10 on the cruise).

Anybody joining us???

this will be our second cruise... Disney... Alaska -- we did this trip May 2012, but it went out of Vancouver and ended in Seattle... was so much snow that we couldn't go up to Tracy Arm...

I'm 51, DH will be next week... I'm worse than any small child -- I have my own Disney VISA

Hi There! I just booked this cruise last night! It will be my DH and myself traveling. It will be my third Disney Cruise and hubby's first. He too doesn't understand my Disney obsession, but he's agreed to go this time, only because it's going to Alaska. I'm going join the FB group now. It's going to be a loooooong wait until next September!

We will be doing two trips to WDW this year -- few days in April and then again in October... Hope to get back in spring of 2014 before the annual passes expire... Got to get my MMouse fix!!

DH and I will be on this cruise. This will be out 5th Disney cruise. Yoo hoo gold status after this. This is our 3rd attempt to do an Alaskan cruise. For various reasons we have have to cancel in the past. I said come he!! or high water we are doing this cruise. We have a family trip planned to WDW this summer. So we are Disney fanatics too. We are also DVC members so we try to go at least once a year. Looking forward to a verandah room for this trip. I just requested to be added on the Facebook Group. Looking forward to traveling with all of you.

I am wanting to book this cruise. However, I'm not sure if I should book an inside room - to save money - or book a room with a balcony. Any suggestions?
How much would I miss out not having a balcony on an Alaskan cruise?

My boyfriend (56) and myself (54) have gone on Disney cruises before - first one with an oceanview - (Western Caribbean with my daughter), second with an inside room (Bahamas with my boyfriend).

By the way, I also have a Disney Visa!!!! And use it ALL the time! Love those points.....

Hi everyone,

We're glad to see people excited about the September 2014 trip. We just got back from the Wonder in Alaska trip on July 22nd. It was our third trip to Alaska on the Wonder and we have been so lucky that we have NEVER had any rain on any of the trips. The captain and the crew have marveled at our luck with Alaska weather on all our trips. Let's hope that next September's trip will have such great weather. I even told Captain Fabian that I was going to "complain" that I bought a 70 dollar rainsuit for our first trip on the Wonder and I have not been able to wear it. He just laughed and hoped that we would continue to bring good weather on all our Disney trips to Alaska.

Be sure to encourage everyone on our September trip to sign up to participate in the Fish Extender fun. It really adds a lot of special fun to the voyage.
