This is our first cruise and we are so excited! I never thought I would enjoy a cruise, I prefer to relax and do things at my own pace on vacations, but I am getting so excited for this cruise. We will probably book another cruise after this one, because it sounds like we are going to have a wonderful time!
Hubby and I have a DD age 4 and she makes friends so easily I hope there are other little kids her age to play with. We are also traveling with friends who have DS's age 3 and 8 months.
We will be flying in the day before and staying at the Raddison at the port and then continuing on to the Nick resort for 2 days. We wanted to visit Universal and check out the new Harry Potter attraction before heading home.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. We are going to try and get to the port as early as possible the day we leave so we can enjoy the ship as long as possible. Did I read right that there's no formal dinner night on the 4 day cruises?
Can't wait to set sail!
Hello again! First time cruisers here... I noticed that the Dolphin Swim is all booked up in NassauWhat are the chances of booking on board? Is it really sold out?
Welcome to The DIS and the cruise thread.Your "plan of attack" sounds wonderful. We are traveling to Disney in December and will be carving out a couple days to visit Harry Potter and I'm beside myself with excitement!! My DD is 6, and I'm sure she will be bumping into your DD quite a bit at the Clubs! Hopefully, they can pal around a bit!
I believe there are always spots left available for those who want to book onboard. Plus, even if there aren't, people cancel so a spot could open up even during the cruise.![]()
BellaPrincess, did you ever find someone who wanted to sit with you at dinner?

P.S- I was thinking, is there anything we could do to recognize each other if we pass each other on the ship? I think it would be really cool to stop and say hello.
Well, our 4 year old son will be in and out of the club. I'll be the mom that looks like a hot air balloon. I will be just 23 weeks preg. The max they would let me on the ship was 24 weeks and I made it by just days! I hope they believe my doctor's note, because I already look huge.![]()

I hope it all works out. I'm so excited and so are my kids. We're counting 69 days left!![]()
And I really want my little guy to have another fantastic big family vacation before the new baby comes and turns everything upside-down for him. He deserves it.
