We are on this! We are not decided as far as what to do in Europe before the cruise, but we are happy to be on our fourth DCL TA cruise!

We are senior citizens, mid 70’s.

Our first idea was to go to DL Paris for 3 nights then take the Chunnel to London and spend the night before at Disney’s hotel for the transfers to the ship. For our last WBTA we went to Paris and the D day sites in Normandy, that was excellent and we would recommend that to anyone!

We are on this cruise, too...senior citizens around 80. This is the second cruise of a B2B with the Brit. Isles adventure first. Our son, recently retired whose wife is still working and can't come, is part of our crew of three. Doubt we can get him in one of the kids's clubs. We did a B2B Med./WBTA from Barcelona in 2016 and loved it. Our plans call for arriving in London four days early (son's first time) to see the sights and same routine when we dock in NYC. Cruised on the Dream over last Thanksgiving and have a July Caribbean trip on the Fantasy lined up.

^Welcome! Sounds like good plans. We did a WBTA in 2019, and the ship hit a hurricane and we missed Canada stops, but spent an overnight in NYC port.

We're on board! Just booked our flights through Delta (yikes!). Just me and the wife. Did the 2015 EBTA with my daughters and had a blast!

We just booked the Virgin Atlantic flight from DC to Heathrow. They've got a Economy Delight level that has some additional space that was less than economy on some of the other carriers.
Although we usually hit some West End theatre whenever we're in London, we've decided to fly in on Saturday and stay overnight near the airport to minimize our exposure and then take the Disney transfer to the port.

We have decided to just stay in London before the cruise and are looking at flights. We will stay in the Disney hotel and transfer.

Somehow did not think to post here about going on this cruise too- but we are. 😀

Hi There 🙋‍♀️

We are on this cruise too! So excited to be cruising with you again, Bobbi!

We are looking to book a private tour in Le Havre. Does anyone know of a good company that does this?

can’t wait!!

Looks like at least three a day...yikes! Attend one quarter of these and you'll never find your stateroom. Great variety!!

For my wife and I, this will be our first transatlantic. We had booked an east bound transatlantic in Summer 2020, but it was COVID cancelled. We will be spending a week or two prior in continental Europe, just not sure where as of yet.

Any suggestions on how to get from NYC cruise port to LaGuardia?

My friend used Lyft/Uber when we were on the DVC Member Cruise. She said it was easy and quick!

I emailed DCL the same question and there are transfers through them to JFK and LaGuardia.

Hello all,
I am excited to be on this cruise with my husband. We have never done a Transatlantic cruise and are looking forward to travel again after 3 years. I look forward to dreaming and planning with all of you.

We live in Portland, OR and heard months ago that British Airways was going to be starting non-stop flights from here to Heathrow this July. Well, we usually fly Alaska and BA is one of their partners. Checked with Alaska and, bingo, we booked BA for our Sept. flight. Funny thing is, if you want to book your BA seats now, it will cost from $50-150 each, depending on location. You can wait and they will assign, but wife and I might not be together, and she likes a window seat. The plane is 3-3-3 across, which adds another dimension. Just a heads up for those flying British Air.
