Hi guys,
Just checking in. Another busy week for me. On my one day off during the week (5 days for 12 hour shifts in a row) I got to take care of my car accident. I have sprained my lower back and the right side of my neck. Lets just say that it still REALLY hurts- despite the medications my doctor put me on and muscle relaxers make me sleepy so I can't take those at work- so I felt miserable at work all yesterday. :guilty:

However, I am looking forward to resting up over the next few days. After I am off call tomorrow afternoon- no work until Friday. :cool1: I'm looking forward to seeing Tracy and Mickey! :earsgirl:

I am getting more and more excited for the cruise. I am also trying to decide where we should stay before and after the cruise. Trying to decide if we are going to use DVC points this summer or blow or whole year's worth for concierge somewhere after the cruise. I'm watching for the 7 month mark.

I'm glad to see that everyone seems to be doing well- I'm sure you'll hear lots of chatter from Tracy and I on Sunday after our DVC party.

Good Morning fellow Cruisers:

A toasty 16 degrees out there today and we had some snow during the week. Hope ya all have a great weekend.

Been very busy at work and as such really have a lot to do this next week before vacation. Ready for a vacation for sure. But I am always ready for a vacation. Looking forward to seeing a few folks and mostly having some time for Lynn and I to be together. Enjoying WDW during the Christmas season, OKW for and early morning run and relaxation. Get those batteries recharged as my magnetic strip is running thin. I should get more than 3-4 hours of sleep a day. Oh well 79 weeks till retirement.

Busy weekend for us, I got three hours of sleep last night and Lynn worked a grave shift. We gotta finish up Christmas decoration, get family Christmas presents ready to ship, pack for Thanksgiving and WDW trip, SCUBA Class, Walk the dogs. And so the list goes on. Seem like we are loosing this race and on a treadmill.

Celeste take care of that back, will it affect your 1/2marathon? We can highly recommend AKL concierge. Is the rest of your crew heading to WDW???

Wish we were closer to Chi Town, my kinda town, you guys will have fun.

Just a reminder, to send Tracy some info for the newsletter. I can understand why you may not want to submit info, maybe more than most, but still we all are pretty unique folks with a common interest, so maybe share why Disney etc is special to you. For me the Mouse is such a break from work that I think I should get my Doc to write a script for vacations. And send Tony a picture for the roster, this is really a handy tool to help meet folks on sailaway day.

I gotta get breakfast going, blueberry muffin loaf this morn, before Lynn gets home

Nice morning here today. 34° and sunny. Should be a nice day, if if just a bit nippy.
Up late last night watching football. I think I saw the DUCKS beat OSU, but couldn't tell for all the fog.
But did see Fresno State give USC a scare. :scared1:
In the afternoon it was the Purdue Boilermakers

winning the Bucket AGAIN. Beat the IU 'oosiers! :cheer2:

Back to DCL. Lot of posts on the Main thread about why DCL won't be cruising to Alaska. I have read some of that before. Seems like the problems would be with the upper decks and pools. Verandas could be a problem too?
I think we would do an Alaskan through Disney, but right now it doesn't look too promising.

A boy and his brownie at Ghiradelli's!

Celeste, send me your address and I'll send you all of the pictures from the weekend on a CD. That'll be easier than to e-mail them all to you.

Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! We leave in the morning for our reunion trip on the Wonder with DH's family. Lost most of our snow here in northern Michigan so hopefully we will have an easy trip to the airport tomorrow.

Stay safe and ENJOY!

Getting Slammed at work, gotta get my monthly stuff done before vacation, admin reports, money reports, and work reports, keep Atty’s and Admin Happy. Paper, Paper every where. It is amazing what people do to make Christmas Money.

12 degrees this AM, Man I gotta go where it is warm.

Saw Chicken Little last night, I liked it. Preview for Harry Potter looks good, might catch that in ATL with the family over Turkey Day.

Narnia, preview looks great, I think Disney has a winner there.

Gail have a great trip.

Tracy glad to hear you had a great time in Chicago. Some nice DVC announcements.

Got our Christmas stuff up and running, ok so we were the first in the neighbor hood to have out outside lights on, I know it is early but we wanted to enjoy them. Eat your heart out Jennings Osborn... LOL

Wishing all a great Thanksgiving, we all have a great deal to be very thankful for. Enjoy time with family, friends, and our beloved pets as they are really family.

Hey Sue, I miss your good morning notes.

Back to work.

We flew to Eugene for the game against OSU. Boy was it alot colder than the nice 80 degree weather we have in Phoenix. The fog was amazing, but we have friends with "donor" seats and well the view was very nice. Moved up ahead of Notre Dame in the BCS poll, but that doesn't really matter. Have to just be happy with a 10-1 season - actually we are thrilled with the year we have had. We can just cross our fingers and hope that the Ducks will receive the BCS bowl they deserve and have earned. How a team with 2 losses can be chosen above them is a mystery. Especially when our only loss is to the two time defending National Champs (soon to be three time). We are used to it after having the same thing happen in 2001. We should have played for the National Championship but Nebreska went instead. Oregon just doesn't get the respect that a ND or Ohio State has. Maybe another few 10-1 seasons and we will get our due.

Doesn't matter - it's great to be a Duck!
