The surprise party is over and I can now concentrate on other things - like cruising.

The martini bar was a HUGE success and I have enough vodka (in every flavor) and mixers left over to host every party from now through New Years Eve. I really do want to host a martini tasting on the cruise because I played bartender at my event and know how to make 10 varieties of martini. :) Do you think we could do this on Deck 7 Aft Deck?

Everyone stay safe weather wise - hurricanes, snow, rain or just cold weather.

So glad everything went well. There is a gal I work with here that is the "expert" on martinis also. She just got married and I never knew there were so many different things you could buy! Got some great stuff for her at Pier One.

Any news yet on the tickets for the candlelight processional?

Linda

Did you have any of the Black Vodka? Just curious as to what that is like. Read about, but haven't seen it yet.

Definately count me in for the Martini night. Nothing better than a good martini, except maybe a good martini on the aft deck of the Wonder....

Just to let you appreciate the thoughts of nice warm breezes and crystal blue waves ..... We had SNOW :earseek: this morning. Not enough to make the roads bad BUT enough to have to clear off the windshield and windows of my car.

Well it is 75 this morning and we are supposed to have a high of 82. OUCH, i got pinched and woke up. 28 this morning and should really be a nice sunny 62 this after noon.

Stay dry and warm you guys.

Peter and Jenn - stay safe, dry and warm. I have a co-worker that lives in Bradford and she said it was very windy and raining hard there this morning.

Just a little note about the Candlelight Processional Meet at Disneyland. The event takes place on December 3rd and 4th and the Host is Dick VanDyke. No information has been released about the dining packages to date but I do have the information from 2004.

Hooks Pointe $40 for adults, $15 for kids

Granville's $50 for adults, $15 for kids

Napa Rose $75 for adults, $20 for kids

Storyteller's Cafe $40 for adults, $15 for kids

Vineyard Room $75 for adults, $20 for kids

Yamabuki $50 for adults, $15 for kids

I was looking into other ideas for the meet that weekend and wanted to see if anyone was interested in a VIP Tour. The VIP tours last for 4 hours and the cost is $300. There is a maximum of 10 people per tour which works out to $30 per person. The tour can be customized for our group.

Should be fun Tink, looks like the WDW meet and the DL meet will take place the same Weekend, Now how about the Midwest Meet. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :grouphug:

Who is coordinating the WDW meet? We can include it in the next newsletter.

Sounds like an awesome time, however I have had a change of plans. After making all of my reservations, I was co-erced by my former cell er.. I mean repo cruise table mates to join them in DL for Christmas. So - changed gears and we are having a Table 31 reunion for Christmas. It will be Disney trip like non other I have had. We are flying down on the 23rd and staying until the 28th. Lots of character meals, special tours and The Glory of Christmas. And all of this is going to be a surprise to our children. That is the best part.

So...I will have to do the Candlelight Processional some other year. Have a Magical Wonderful time and take lots of pictures. Heather and I will be with you in spirit.

It's about the same temp up here in Madison. I think I saw some snow flurries this morning :cold:

Celeste, the Red Sox are not in the World Series though. Who are you pulling for instead? I was pulling for Chicago, but they've had a few "lucky" plays, so now I just want to see the series go as long as possible :earboy2:

Hi guys ... My hubby had to go in to work at the school for 5 AM cause of SNOW removal. :earseek: :cold: :cold: :earseek: I know it's gotta come eventually but why in October! Hope the weather man is right and it warms up this weekend.

Peter & Jen ... Hope you guys are making out OK with the weather. I think you've had mostly rain.

Good Morning everyone! No snow here today, but finally a day of no rain! Cathy, thanks for thinking of us, we survived just fine, no flooded basement or knocked over trees. Lucky for us we are inland, and not near any rivers. Pete is sleeping, missing the beautiful day. Hopefully his days of working overnight will be over on Friday. But I am off today unexpectedly! So I am off to spend all the extra money he is making! Have a great day everyone!

Thankfully the rain is over - unfortunetely I have 2 leaks in my roof - waiting for the handyman to come. I have no clue about my basement - havent been brave enough to venture down yet...

Hopefully he'll come soon, not like our plumber. We waited a week for him to show up for a leaky water softener. Can't wait to see the water bill for the last week :guilty:
