I know it is out of the way- I just wondered if they would swing down...after all if the trip only takes a week- maybe they would?

A New York stop would be LOTS of fun- they could do shopping trips, a Lion King matinee, and a trip to their huge store in NY!

Well, back from our trip to Oregon. We had a great time even though the outcome of our game was not what we wished for.

$%#*@$% Refs!
$%#*@$% USC!

Sorry, feel better now though. We had them for the first half. Too bad they play two! It was so loud that our hearing has not quite returned to normal yet, nor our voices. It was fun.

Anyway, only one game. Go Ducks!

Hey Regina! YAY! Sorry to hear that Kate will not be going to Australia though. Aimee is madder than anything that she can not go on this cruise! :rotfl:

Robin

I'm looking forward to sailing with my former CT neighbor. Congrats on the move!! I'm soooo happy for you.

Kate hates missing the cruises. She'll have to be content with the DVC stay we booked for her and her friend for their Spring Break. (Poor kid.)

Tell Aimee I said Hi!! :wave2: She must be thrilled to have you living down in FL with her. :)

Thanks Elaine! I know all about the Florida resident discounts, and definately intend on taking advantage of them! :goodvibes Yes, the mystery person is no longer a mystery to me anymore :teeth: If a year from now, things are as they are now, I am going to have to recruit a new cruiser onboard. :rotfl:

Have a good day everyone!

Robin

Robin!

Congratulations on EVERYTHING! You were in my heart and thoughts through it all!

Georgie... your scavenger buddy Joe too!

Happy moving! What will happen to ladie's night at Palos if the mystery person comes?
My grandchildren think they were born to cruise and visit WDW.

:rotfl2: so funny! We can still do ladies night at Palo, he will just have to adjust and do "grass skirt" night with the men! :teeth:

Aimee is being funny about me being there, but she loves her new apartment I had built above the garage for her. Tell Kate hi from me as well.

Hi Robin

Glad you are almost moved and in Florida - you sure have some good times ahead of you

When I get better, we'll meet at WDW - that's a promise

Tracey, good point on CC. Would it really be that bad to miss it? Oops, what am I saying?

Robin, congrats on the move to Florida. I'd love to do that some day too.

Night everyone,
Emily

So, I've been obsessing about this marathon. I've been dreaming about t-shirts. I even am going to purchase some software to design the t-shirts. I am thinking of themeing....this is making me wonder if I have OCD. :flower:

Anyways.

I am debating changing the theme to something related to pirates. I have found pirate trophies. I have found medals that I can put any image on. I even found a really cute pirate picture, that could be tweaked to fit our cruise.
wondercruisepirate2.jpg

I would change out a few things....if I can figure out how to. Maybe changing the text to marathon pirate style or something- I don't know.

I also have someone working on the "happiest diserthon at sea" theming.

I will post both when I get them

Celeste, that design looks awesome!! I wish I had the creativity to design something like that. Way to go!!! :cheer2:

I would love to say that I did this design- BUT I DIDN'T. I just found it. I am going to ask the person who did it to customize it for us, if we do the pirate theme for the marathon. Or I may ask her where she got the clip art and do it slightly different.

I missed a few things so Happy Birthday, Congrats on the Move, and Good Wishes for anyone who needs them.

I have spent all of my spare time planning my DH's 40th Surprise Birthday Event. Luckily his guys trip to Vegas is coming up so that he will be out of the house for 4 days and I can get the final plans finished.

Disneyland's Candlelight Processional is the first weekend in December. If that works for people, we will try for then.

Did a little bit of research. From New York to Southampton, England takes a week. So if the Magic did do a trans-Atlantic, would we sail up the coast to NY and then go over or would we take a different route? How many days would it take to sail to NY? I wonder what ports we would stop at?

When some of the other cruise lines do repo cruises from the Med, they either stop in Spain or the Azores, and it usually takes 7 straight days at sea to reach Miami, so it might be possible to do.

I vaguely remember 40. Gary's birthday is Thursday. He's also 40 (+ 12).

I can only imagine what a party planned by you will be like Lesley.   I hope that it's fantastic!

Celeste! I'm almost tempted to do the Marathon just for the way cool shirt. I suppose that involves exercise, doesn't it?? :earseek:

I promise it will be easily accomplished by everyone- everyone just has to complete by it a certain date. It doesn't have to be done at one time or even timed. More details to follow.....
