At least a lurker didn't get it ;) (and a Lions fan at that!) We'll let you get 9900!! pirate:

Now I better get back to work! See you all soon!

Letsgosteelers, Yes the stadium is nice, just wish the Lions were better (maybe this year, we say that allot, LOL).

We mine salt so we can enjoy the spices of life..... Wow am I being philosophical this morning or what.

I’ll be on the road to Dallas next week, starting the training for the new position. Should be interesting. Getting the paperwork together for travel etc...

RE Car rental in MCO: Checked our Avis reservation yesterday and Hyatt Gold Passport got us a better rate than our AARP rate, as well as an upgrade, was surprised. AARP was better on the return rental. So it is worth it to check.

RE Wine and Cheese Meet: Should your plans change so you can make it over and did not RSVP, feel free to come on over, also please just stop by and say hi if that is all ya can do. We are so looking forward to meeting ya’all.

Welcome Aboard Greasythumb.

Tracy, FYI Lynn and I will have a little something for the stateroom Fish Extenders.

Doug,

Glad you're finally able to find your way home. Chewy, Too will be glad to see you.....Oh, not to mention Carol! ;)

Is everyone ready to cruise?

Hi everyone! We just returned from a week in Cleveland and I surprised Carolyn with a 3 day cruise on the Wonder. The crew is very excited about the Southern Carribean cruises. The Wonder goes into dry dock after the 11 day cruise. They still had Hurcules the Musical but not Twice Charmed. No one was letting on to what the enertainment would be for the Southern Carribean crruises. More later. Alex

I saw the call for rooster updates for name tags, etc. For folks bringing gifts it would be nice to have a approx. number of cabins to work with. Working on my fish extender and gift. My Bubba Cup(decorated) and Crocs are ready to go. I am starting to think about the packing list.

Just got Melissa onboard. Cat11. Florida discount for cat. 12 price deck 6. I'll meet with her tomorrow and ask her if she wants to be included in all this madness.
I can't imagine why she wouldn't. :rotfl2:

Sounds great!! You'll have to keep us updated along the way on the 10 night!! By the way, have you gotten your documents yet for the 10 night? We should all be about 10 days behind that.

What a nice surprise for Carolyn, Alex. How were the Airports?

Morning all! Off for the day to cruise shop! We don't have too many days left :cool1: I'm trying to snag all of the last minute summer deals I can. :Pinkbounc I'm also going to a costume shop today to try and round up pirate costumes pirate: so I'll report on how that goes later.

I read that someone posted about a wings place around hagerstown maryland a few pages back: DO TELL, we are on the atkins diet and would love a new wing stop in maryland. We go to the walmart in hagerstown just about everyweek and usually go to TGIF for low carb stuff.

Anyway, we are between Fremont, CA headed to Sacramento, CA. My favorite mall awaits.........

But we are headed to Hooters first. Can you believe that my dh has never been to a Hooters? He lived in Ft Lauderdale and never had the Hooters experience! He's in for a treat! I love their wings but I already let him in on the secret that the girls that actually work at hooters rarely look as gorgeous as the ones on the bill boards :rotfl: I honestly go for the wings, they are sooooo good and I know Kev being a wing lover as well will enjoy the wings as well as the eye candy :lmao: I always think it's funny to take people to Hooters for the first time and see how uncomfortable they act at first not knowing what to expect. I think people expect a lot more than it really is, but great eats! popcorn::

Hey all! Sorry I have been MIA. I had to go on a business trip to CO and CA for a week. Anyway, I went through all the checks and paypal payments and will be ordering the pins on Monday. My POC said they will take 7-10 days to get here. I grossly mis-judged how much paypal was taking out, and we have paid for 220 pins, but can only order them in incriments of 100, so I have to order 300. So a bit of the cost will be coming out of pocket (about $100 with shipping) No biggie. My question is, would anyone be mad if I charged $3.00 for them on the ship (for those who didn't pre-order) to get a bit of the $$ back for the pins and shipping? I don't think this is unfair, but please let me know if you do. I will be cashing all the checks on Monday as well- so sorry if I screwed your bank statement up with all the waiting. Thanks for paying so promtly, and I will let you all know when they come in! I will separate them into zip-lock bags with labels and can someone set up a time so I can pass them out?? I can bring them to the send off and the pajama breakfast and hope I get most of you. I can't wait!! :) :)

Cathy
Cathy, Thanks again for doing this....

OK, lets see if this works for anyone, I would be willing to buy 10 or maybe 20 extra pins. We buy Disney pins for my son all the time, If we put them on our Lanyards, maybe would could trade them. I know there is going to be alot of people not on the disboards, that will be asking where they can get them. I hope I'm not out of line by doing this. But it could be a way of getting some Disney pins at half the cost. I have not seen many Disney pins less than $3.25... :teacher: :teacher: :teacher:

This isn't much of a race if I'm the only one racing :happytv:

Corwin17, what kind of fan are you? I can only think of baseball and basketball teams there. Plus former football teams (Raiders, Rams)
Me?

Not Baseball ... I was a fan of the Anaheim Angles, but that team turned its back on the local fans to become the "Los Angles Angles of Anaheim" :crazy2:  :sad1: Otherwise, baseball is pretty boring waiting for something to happen.

Not Basketball ... BORING! I can't fathom a sport where *BOTH TEAMS* can score 50+ times, and it's stilled tied?!?

Not Football ... BORING! Even when the Lams ... er ... Rams moved to Anaheim, they remained the "Los Angeles Rams". (see above comment about the Angles)

If those are the only pro-sports you can think of, you need to broaden your horizons! :)

You forgot Soccer, but that falls victim to the BORING! bug too. Run that way, steal ... run that way, steal .... repeat ad nauseum.

Actually both Kitster (Vicki) and I are the fans of the same sport same team ...

HOCKEY'S ANAHEIM DUCKS!!!

With hockey, you blink, and you miss something. With the others, you could go away for 30 minutes and nothing changes. :yay:
