Did any of then have on ankle bracelets? Didn’t Martha do a designer line of them??? Oh no I shouldn’t have said anything, now we will be having a Ankle Bracelet Decorating Contest.

Didn't see ankle bracelets, they had on the flower headbands though. And the guy building the luau party set had a tool belt.

Ankle Bracelet deocrating..lol, we are going to be a busy busy bunch of people on sea days..lol.

Well, I have been patiently waiting for our cruise docs and just received a call from DU. They had our old address!! The good news is they are on their way now!

Yippee!! I know we don't really NEED them...but, it is fun receiving mail from DCL!

You might want to check on the "drive thru" volcano, Wife and I toured the volcano last year and we had to walk...they droped us off at the visitors center, watched a film and then walked on a guided tour. The walk was not hard, but if you are planning on pushing a stoller, it might get tough...Plus the sulpher smell can be quite strong. After the tour, the taxi was waiting for us at the back gate. If you do the tour, make the tour operator stop and pick a cocoa bean The seeds are incredible I'm not trying to scare you from taking this tour, just warning about the walking.

My kids would probably make this smelly walk through difficult at best.

SO this is one we would pass on. RATs.... as I would normally consider this as an interesting option - as well as the Eli-s Eco tour on the 52' power cat. Oh well .... as it stands the Lawrence of Antigua tour sounds like the perfect speed for my group especially considering the beach drop option! Thanks again Beth for organizing that one! And cheers to everyone else who is sharing their wonderful and exciting ideas on the other activities. It has been more fun reading about these alternatives then reading a guide book or web site these past few weeks.

Hmmm.... looking at this picture above ... maybe I can ditch the kids and spouse and do Eli's tour on the boat. You suppose Eli would let me fly a kite off the fan tailwhile at speed ?

Hey, isn't the Wonder leaving today for the 10 day? Checked out the Port Canaveral Web Cam and all you can see is a Carnival Ship. Not exactly the ship I am dreaming of.

More steps completed towards getting ready:

* got a roll of quarters for laundry
* got a stack of ones for in room dining tips
* put the clothes into the dry cleaners
* got the luggage out of the attic and febreezed them
* cleaned off the snorkeling equipment
* bought all my secret Mickey gifts

I feel like one of those kids who can't show excitement well and just shake.

I went and had a haircut for the cruise yesterday and the hairdresser said I look like that little kid in the WDW commercial ... the big sister says are you asleep and all he can do is giggle and say No, I'm too excited. YUP that's me.

... I just found a new DIS poster who got upgraded from a 6 to a cat 4! They've only got 2 postings up and I posted to their thread suggesting they come on over to our cruise meet thread.... so lets see if they make it over to introduce themselves...

Very excited here. We're headed out on the 11-day Southern Caribbean Cruise on the Wonder beginning Sept 17th.

- same time next week we'll be counting luggage bags, socks and so on in our bags! We don't jet til Friday so we get another day in town to brace for the travel effort! Alas, we too are looking forward to connecting the dots... and matching screen names to warm smiles and pleasant greetin's. Oh well... I gotta lotta stuff to do today and "just" nearly enuf time... so I'll be off and about most of today - maybe I'll drop in to glance a couple times too though if I can....
