Today is also my mother's 65th birthday, my aunt and uncle's 5th anniversary and it was my parent's anniversary. Mom doesn't know it yet, but we are stopping at the neighborhood party tonight which is actually a surprise birthday party for her!! We're going to tell her we're going to Wal-Mart. She's never turned down a trip to Wally World

Tracy, that's funny. The way we got my mom out of the house for her 75th birthday surprise party was a trip to Walmart -- because she never turns down a trip there either. Also knew she wouldn't be suspicious of a trip to Wally World!

Good Morning everyone....I have not been on since Wednesday. Did I miss anything? My house got flooded by the toilet yesterday! My whole house was under water by the time we got home and found it. I have real hardwood floors and I am scared they are going to be ruined. Insurance will be out today. I am so glad this did not happen while we were on the cruise, but now I have a big mess to deal with before we leave! We couldn't even stay in the house last night. Luckily we have a rental house that my daughters boyfriend is renting from us. So we all slept on his floor! What a fun way to spend a holiday weekend......

Let me know if I missed any important updates.

I remember once a long time ago we saw several neighbors gathered around someones' home looking in. I approached and found that everyone was looking at the interior that was all flooded with about 12-18" of water! Someone had just called the fire department and while we waited the occupants drove up. It was a rental home. They opened the door and a gush of water poured out the already leaking front door. It turns out it was something in the laundry room that had burst.

So - we have something we can compare to your mishap. As such we are sorry for your complications - but at least the water was probably very clean in general. Not as if it were contaminated sewage or worse!

Anyways - good luck untangling matters in time for the cruise.
