There is no way for me to catch up on everything I missed in just one day. I did see the Mickey Bar contest location has moved. Has anything else major happened that I may have missed?

My name is Lindsay. My mom just booked this cruise about a month ago. I'm so excited. I can't wait. The best part is that I'll get to celebrate my Birthday on the cruise. :woohoo:

Does anyone know if there will be a college club (18-21 year olds) on the cruise? There was one on the Magic that i had just gotten off of. I met some awsome people. Hopefully I'll luck out again on this cruise if they have the group.

Hi Lindsey - just sent your mom a pm in regards to young adults - sorry - I reacted before reading on. Anyway, pm me if you have any questions. Thanks - and don't worry - you'll have fun - although sure am glad to hear that there's a young lady going! :thumbsup2

ok....

gotta run out for a few minutes here... so everyone keep it posting really SLOW so I havea chance to snipe 15,000... OK?

My daughter (turning 20 in two weeks, and 1/2 way through her junior year of college) decided not to join us. Classes start for her just a couple weeks before we depart, and her French class (she is a double major, French and History) grades on attendance as well as assignments and tests. If we were going to spend an extended time at a destination with French as the official language, she could pull it off - but not on this cruise.

I hope there are others your age for you to hang out with. It is a tough time of year for your peers to miss classes. My 14 and 17-yr olds decided that they shouldn't miss either. Just my 11-yr-old is coming. But I do know of another 17-yr-old that will be on the ship. I just don't know of any young adults.

I'm sure you'll find fun no matter what!

Hmmm? Maybe I'll have to start posting like mad, like the rest of you do?!!! We'll be well past the next "magic" number by the time you return - ha! :rotfl2:

But hey, BIRMINGHAM, AL area women: Does anyone know a really good hair colorist that could squeeze me in on 2 weeks notice??? Anyone willing to deal with a perfectionist, slightly annoying former hairdresser that will likely tell them EXACTLY what to put on my hair? Heck, I could do it myself if I could see the back of my head!! :rotfl2:
o.k. I don't know how I did it but I didn't do this quote right......I tried PRETTY IN TINK!!!!! Anyways!!

Are you going near Lexington, KY??? Just off I-75, I have the best colorist there!! I even drive 70 miles ONE Way to see her!! Brooklyn Browning at Posh Salon, 859-269-7674!!! She is fun and would probably sit in the chair and have you try something different on her hair, :rotfl: evertime I go in she has a different look!! :teeth:

If that won't work my new neighbor is from Birmingham, I'll see her at our boys soccer game tonight, I'll ask her!! :thumbsup2
Thanks! I don't think I'm gonna be through Kentucky though. I made an appointment at a place called Olivia in Montgomery where my Grandmother goes. I checked out their website and it looks pretty good. So I'm getting my hair done and my pedicure done on September 14th. I guess that means that we have to go home early (darn the bad luck ;) ) Thanks for the suggestion though! I would drive to the end of the earth for a good hairdresser! :thumbsup2

I have updated the time for the Cigars and Scotch with the Bob's, as well as the location for the Mickey bar Eating Contest.

Good Morning PIT.....Take a deep breath and then scream as loud as you can...FEEL BETTER? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Good, its good to let loose every once in a while. I just hope you warned Kevin before you did that. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

BTW, now to the thigh issue, Like I told my wife, just put on that push up bikini she has and no one will even notice she has thighs...

Kevin is the one that screams! (Like at our BIG BOSS yesterday :rolleyes1 ) Good thing I'm the voice of reason around here. If it was up to him yesterday he would've just quit. Our boss was just under a lot of stress yesterday and so were we and they wanted us to do one thing and we wanted to do another. Luckily, Bossman called us right back after Kevin HUNG UP ON HIM (a move that would get employees in MOST other professions fired on the spot, but not Truck Drivers since we are in such high demand). I talked to Bossman and struck a deal with him about these "priority" loads he wanted us to cover. Turns out the VP of the company said that he couldn't go home until all loads were covered. He had 5 left and was supposed to get off 3 hrs before he called us. No wonder he was PO'd! Luckily, bossman LOVES me to death so we were able to come to an understanding. :thumbsup2 And thankfully, no hard feelings between he and Kevin. :goodvibes This job can be stressful for all involved

On the Thigh Expo '06, maybe if I get my hair dyed DisBoard Green no one will even notice my thighs! :lmao:

Too bad sailing with a fluent french speaker (me!), and all the French crew doesn't count.

FOr any who might need an extra seat at the PJ thing... I'll have an Ebay auction going soon so - if you have a paypal account then look for it! :lmao: I'll only be taking bids in Pesos though! ;)

Just out of sheer curiousity, does anyone on here have an applehead chihuahua? We have been looking for a dog to keep on the truck with us and after much thought and prayer, we have narrowed it down to three: A miniature schnauzer (the most popular dog truck drivers have on trucks due to their tolerance to heat and cold, and lack of health problems), a maltese (which I'm not really sure about, because I've heard about health problems and bladder control problems), and a chihuahua (which are probley the 2nd most popular truck dog). I just want a dog small enough to enjoy this truck.(and that I can carry around in my purse if I want) For a small enough dog this truck is a PALACE! I hate it when I see a German Shepard on a truck. Cruelty to animals if you ask me. Any thoughts on any of these dogs?

I don't necessarily need 15,000. I got the 10K.
I just want to be here when it happens. :thumbsup2
