OK - but remember - we're still pretty new at this and not up to par on some of the ettiquete (sp?). Also - I remember the westward - DH and I were the last ones to get vouchers on embarktion day and then the following day were within the last 10 until they finally decided that a bunch of people were going to overrun the ship or mutiny and gave them out. :rotfl: That's when I first realized how  :dance3: some collecters are (I'm now including myself in that group - to a point - I have to draw the line on slumber parties! ;) )

Laura: the "slumber party" was the best part of that cruise.

I wouldn't give it up for anything :rotfl:

Once in a while. Especially when there is something special at IHOP (Stuffed French Toast, Caramel topped pancakes, etc.)
Tracy, it's funnel cake time at IHOP :lmao: :rotfl2:

I like to say that I'd never do something like for pins, but I know that I would have been out there with all of you sleeping in the hallway or fighting for vouchers just to get the pins for that cruise. What's the point of being there if you don't have any merchandise to vouch for it? :lmao:

Hi, my name is Emily and I am a pin-aholic. :lmao:

Oh, don't tell me that. I love their funnel cake, heck, funnel cakes in general. :lmao:

They should have funnel cakes on the ship. They could put it in Scoops so you have you're choice of toppings. :thumbsup2

I've been doing it since 2000 and don't even want to think about how many I have. It's not as bad now as it was, now I only buy really, really neat ones or attractions I don't have, things like that.

Glad the the storm has not strengthened and hope that all in it's path are spared.

Have to go to Walmart and pick up a few things for the cruise and also some stuff for dinner. Just curious, how many like to eat breakfast at night instead of regular dinner fare once in awhile. Mike

Mike,

Dinner time is one of my favorite breakfast times. :thumbsup2 As kids we used to love it when our dad was away, Mom almost always fixed waffles, eggs or something similar for dinner. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Same here. I've really really cut back. They are getting way too pricey and there are way too many! :faint: I've narrowed the focus of my collecting to a few themes. I've been trying to trade the zillion or so traders that I've accumulated for the new ones that i want. Now that they've cut out the pin trading nights at WDW.. it's all trading online now.. which is a bit harder. I'm not schleping all my traders on this cruise. Just a few for trading with CM's etc. I'm hoping we get a special pin on this cruise or at least the release of an artist or captains choice though!
We'll have to get together and share war stories!! I am a proud veteran of the Magic slumber party!! :lmao:

I have a hard time believing that they won't have some sort of special pin for this cruise. They'd be missing a money making opportunity and with Disney, how often does that happen?

This time I want to try to find as many of the Piece of Disney History pins as I can. We have a few from last year and I'd like to get some of this year's too. Plus we'll be there when September's comes out, which is actually of the cruise line. Gotta have that one.

I actually heard it was the best part but I get a bit ....ummmm... should I say ..er... cranky if I don't rest my body on a mattress? Yup - I'll say that - but I was jealous! :teeth:

Have a nice afternoon/evening everyone!!!! Time to call it quits for the afternoon, about time too!!!! :lmao:

To everyone in Ernesto's path, here's hoping he'll miss all of you and not cause too much damage. :wizard:

9 work days till we leave for Orlando!!!! Time to start thinking about packing and what all I need to take.

I'll check in later.

I love breakfast food!! Yes, I sometimes have it for dinner! A new one I want to try soon is Banana pancakes and peanut butter. Anyone that watches AMC will know why.

Everyone have a great evening. Bob and Cheryl (webray) stay dry.

Obvious to me that I can't catch Tracy. She's increased her lead. :sad2:

Maybe I can sign some of my posts over to ScottH. :thumbsup2
Don't give up Bob! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Also, CC, I think you asked sometime about Al Jarreau - I love his music!

As far as Pin Collecting - we are new to it. My son (4) is actually the avid PIN fan now. He loves to trade and of course get new ones. There are some he never gives up - like Power Rangers. But, we have only a few since we just started. I wanted the Mickey Sorcerer and got that one for me.

Twin, thanks for the lotto ticket! Too bad it wasn't a winner, but there's always tomorrow!! Keep your fingers crossed for my numbers to come up!! I see it's only a measly $3 million :teeth: :goodvibes

Ok - before I'm forced to go on a time out - let me say:

:bday: to both Tracy and Leslie (gouodox) any remember - have a ton of :cake: as on your :bday: there is no such thing as calories! :teeth: Those are free for today.

Elaine and Leslie - I'm a closet pin-o-holic sitting here in envy but just haven't been able to admit my obsession. I'm the lurker in the room and shy to boot so be nice when you see me - I'm harmless really! I just have to admit my vices - at least that's what my therapist says - she insist on making me sane - wonder what she'd think of this group? :teeth:

Anyway, ditto again for all the :bday: wishes, for those in FL and surrounding areas may you have :hippie: pixiedust: for those in the way of :ssst: (I'm not saying the "E" word). Best wishes your all in my prayers for a safe and sane week.

I'll be attempting to sign off until later this evening. :p

Bob, guess what!! We're going to Culvers for dinner tonight :goodvibes Going all out and having some custard :cool1: :cool1:

Thank you Laura.

I am not a pin-o-holic, but must say I have quite a few from the repo cruise last year and some of the things we did around the cruise. Filled up my lanyard. :teeth:
