Peter...thanks for the offer but we have already made arrangements for it to go to refrigerator heaven.....I think we got our money's worth out of it...$400 / 42 years = $9.52 year!!!!! Here in Canada they are trying to get you to replace any refrigerator older than 10 years.

I also found it pays to do research on the web....the online price was $60 cheaper than the retail price in the store....because I had printed out the info on the fridge I wanted...they honoured the online price...woo hoo!!!!

OK, Elaine. just thought I would Offer ! I always have a couple things going on there.. It is amazing what folks will get if the price is right.

Have it down to a science Dont even have to leave the house !
Except if I run out of Priority mail Boxes.. :teeth:

It is entirely up to you.

Peter

First time out of Florida we arrive at the Maine turnpike and see a sign that says FROST HEAVE when we get to a Toll Booth Lamar asks the attandant. "What's a frost heave?" Never did get an answer. I guess this is what you might call a FROST HEAVE
Cause Originally, frost heaving was thought to occur due simply to the freezing of water in soil. However, the vertical displacement of soil in frost heaving can be significantly greater than the expansion that occurs when ice freezes. In the 1960s, frost heaving was demonstrated in soil saturated in benzene and nitrobenzene, which contract when they freeze.

The current understanding is that ice crystals forming in soil draw water from the surrounding soil, in a process similar to freeze-drying. Heat generated by the freezing process prevents lower levels of soil from freezing as well. Depending on the amount of moisture available, a significant amount of soil displacement can result.

The photo is when the river Crested 10 feet over flood stage !
in early April ! Rain rain rain !! :teeth:

Lynn scored big today, went out to do some shopping and a local sporting good store was have a year end sale. She got two pairs of crocs for 40% off, conveniently did not have her wallet so I was nice and got them for her.

I better get posting if I don’t want Tracy to pass me up.

Making veggie soup for diner tonight on the cold wet day.

Thanks Kborn,
I appreciate your offer but we are driving down that Saturday, too. I was just trying to decrease the amount of carry on items. :)

That sounds good!!!

Okay, now when we say HOT, do we mean 90 degrees or hotter??

It should be in the mid 80s to 90s the entire trip. Sunscreen required!! That is my hope :teeth:! As JB would sing "I want to go where it is warm". Although it is 90 degrees in Alabama today. :)

I would expect the highs in the lower 90's and the lows in the upper 70's, kinda the average for the cruise. :thumbsup2
