Hello Disney Fanatics!

My 10yr old Nephew and I will be sailing with you on Sept 15th. We are both first time cruisers. I'm a bit late to the DIS- board but would like to know if there will be fish extenders? Can I still join? Can someone help me out? How to make one? What to bring with me? Suggestions for making the FE a blast for my 10yr old nephew? Thanks!

Just look through Disboards for FE information lots to be had. Also, if you are on pintrest, you can put FE or fish extenders in the search box and there are many ideas and info there as well.

I think the final vote ended up on FB. They landed on Cruising the Dream. I made a graphic for it under the comment but I took the g off Cruising

Does anyone know what movies they will be showing on the Sept 15 Dream cruise?

They release it two weeks early and you can call Reservations to get the list. It was wrong for our cruise though- Oz was supposed to be shown but wasn't.

We just booked our cruise to add to a 7 day Disney trip! There will be 4 of us: My wife, daughter (2 1/2), mother in law, and me.

I hope that it is not too late to get in on the FE. I am sure that my mom could put together a FE in no time!

I went to the Google docs link and filled out the form for all 4 of us. I think I am going to try and keep this a secret from the rest of them until I hang the FE outside our door!

Now I just have to finish planning. We have already started a list but I am sure that it will grow as we get closer. This will be the first time that we are flying with our daughter!

Great idea to keep it a secret! I could never get away with it with my daughter because now she expects it! Our nights at WDW may be difficult because she will expect there to be treats on the door when we get back from the park!!
I see your info is added- did you want to add first names or just keep it initials- some people personalize with names but it is whatever you want!

Thanks for posting. I went ahead and grabbed it. It's just DH and I on the cruise celebrating out 30 th Anniversary, so I think this would be good. $399 I a lot, so may think better of it as time gets closer. We rented a cabana @ the Ritz Carlton in Maui and paid $300 for the day and it had a TV and we had 4 people. Even as I write this, I think, WOW, maybe it is too much. I,ll sleep on it. Anyone, had a Serenity bay cabana before?

I'm traveling with my 3 & 4 year old and my husband... think my kids would totally love the Fish Extender thing... where can I find more details? What do I need to do? Am I too late? I'm super crafty & creative so I'm sure I can put together what I need in time (just add it to the list).

There is a late FE group that is still open for signup. I would post the link here but my work computer is not completely DIS friendly and it blocks me from links and photos. If you scroll up there should be a post with the link re-posted and the original post was something like #182 in this thread by Kashabear (who is organizing).

I think you are fine with nicknames on the door if that is what you are comfortable with.
