Did everyone see the email about Monday's webcast and the big announcement on DCL's website? Check it out at 12:30 pm EST and the webcast is at 12:45 pm EST. 2010 announcements!!!!

:dance3:

Hi All! We're home now. I'm happy and sad about that. I loved our little 6 night vaca in Orlando. But it was hot. Walking all around while the sun was out and the temps were 90. It was beautiful in air conditioning, but not without.

I had a great time seeing DISer friends from my PC cruise. I have a few more pictures to post because two of them......Monica and Connie with DH Chuck will be on this cruise with us.

It's great to be back home too. I missed my puppy and kitty and turtles. They were all happy to see us.

welcome home Deb & John!:cheer2:

We met up with Connie/cquick and DH Chuck for lunch. Here's a great picture of them. Notice the pretty blue drink that Connie is having. Cheers!

the blue drink looks great, think I had one like that in Boma last trip:thumbsup2 sound slike you had a lot of fun with friends, Deb! I love Capn Jacks, its a great place for a lazy lunch!

I'm here!!

Enjoyed a steep hot walk down to the local village for fresh squeezed orange juice!!!!

Too hot to walk back up the hill so took a taxi!!!

Just 3 nights left.:sad2:

Glad you're having a good time Maz, enjoy the rest of your holiday:cool1: I could do with some of that sunshine, it's freezing here today!

Here's my daughter Sophie enjoying something similar last October in the Grand Floridian Cafe - it was called a Glowtini I think...

I, on the other hand, chose a glass of the wonderful Rosa Regale...

I think sis, TiggersPal, had one of those at AKL before our Double-Dip in '06...the glowing ice cubes actually when 'home' to Chili with our assistant server, Angelina.

.

I'm sure by the time that webcast is over Monday afternoon everyone will be well informed of what's going on.

BTW in case anyone is interested in the Baltic ports, Samantha Brown's Passport to Europe on the Travel Channel is covering Helsinki and Copenhagen sometime this week. Can't remember what days it's either Mon., Wed., or Fri., she's also doing one on Amsterdam this week too.

How can anyone be scared of Planky? I haven't ever met the little guy, but I've followed some of his travels, he seems like he'd be nice.

OH DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON ROSA REGALE! (Glad you edited and posted this picture!) I so love this beverage, especially with some chocolate covered strawberries! HEAVEN..:cloud9: There's a bottle chilling in the fridge right now and I'm getting tired of waiting for someone to share it with...I may just have to drink the whole thing myself. ::yes:: :faint:

Hey there's nothing wrong with drinking the whole bottle by yourself.

Me too!!! :worship: :worship: :worship: Maybe we should start a chapter of the Champagne Girls devoted to Rosa Regale??? And of course we can all have a glass (or several ::yes::) on the cruise next year!!!

Don't worry about drinking a whole bottle to yourself - it's only around 7% so not much different to drinking a half bottle of champagne! That's what I tell myself anyway... ;) And here's a special pic from my private collection...

We did include a couple of bottles of the Rosa Regale at our Champagne Girls Tasting......since it's so popular, it will be included again.

no need for that Jackie....we'll all join in and have a cyber drink with you....in practice for next year of course!:cool1:

Hi Angel, what'cha doing?

Thanks for the welcome home for me and John.

I never ate at Capt'n Jack's before, but I liked it a lot. Great place!

I read where you said that it was cold by you. It's cold here too. No more sunny and 90's......vacation is over.

Here comes the Winter.......brrrrrrrrr!

That just means that next September is coming quickly. Time to get started planning that trip.

For the Champagne Girls and anyone else interested......here's a list of the Champagnes that we had at our first Tasting. They were from an outside source (our friend Karen @ winemiles.com), which is no longer available. So we'll have to price it out using DCL and see how they compare. Here's what Karen provided us:

Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Blue Top Champagne; Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut; Bellussi Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Dry DOC; Codorniu Winery Pinot Noir Brut and Banfi Vintners 2006 Rose Regale Brachetto D'Acqui.

She picked 5 champagnes that went from dry to sweet. We'll try to do the same sort of mix for our tasting.

If anyone has a specific request, please let me know.
