Hello, I'm Karen from London, England and I'll be sailing with my wonderful DH Richard. This will be our 5th DCL cruise - our last one was the final Mexican Riviera and on this very date last year we were renewing our vows on the Western Caribbean...

Gotta say this seems a ubercool group of DISers and I look forward to getting to know y'all over the coming months! I'm particularly keen to become a member of the Champagne Girls - that sounds a perfect club for me as I love champers in all it's guises!!!

My GF and I actually booked this cruise in the summer. We are getting married on it. We are really looking forward to it. It was going to be our first cruise but we decided to do a 4 day on the Wonder in January to get our sea legs. I have been sitting here reading through the pgs and pgs of post to pick up some more info and tips to put on our wedding website, but figured I'd throw up a post rather than lurk. I hope this will be a great cruise for everyone.

How fabulous! We renewed our vows last September on the Disney Magic and it was the most fantastic day of my life - you're wedding will be awesome...

I am now beyond excited at the prospect of joining the cruise - just heard that we did get our preferred stateroom so all systems go!!! Flights are now booked and I just need to book a hotel for 3 nights before the cruise...

Hi Karen, glad you got your favorite stateroom......so what number is it? Ours is 5122 for this cruise and it's also our favorite. We'll be on the 5th floor Port side Aft. We're the first room off of the Aft elevators. Where will you be?

Breaking news.....breaking news.....this just in from Walt Dianey World.

Tortolian cruisers Deb (EllaEnchanted) and DH John (1GrumpyJohn) ran in to Emilly (rotary2808) and her crew at Epcot yesterday! Reports of Monica (mishoe01) being with them are unconfirmed at this time.

Sometimes you don't even have to plan a DIS meet!

Morning everyone!!!!

Welcome to all our new cruisers!!!!

Just got back about an hour ago from our weekend at the World. And yes, as reported there was an unscheduled mini dismeet. It was great getting to meet a few people ahead of time. We had a great weekend, managed to see everything that we wanted to see. We didn't get into the Adventurer's Club Saturday night, that place was jam packed. I can at least say I saw it on the last night though. I'm ready for a nap or maybe a cruise...tortolly

Thank you! Just to show you how fanatical about fizz I am, here's a photo of a 'shrine' to champers that my DD and I assembled when we were at the Food and Wine Festival last October...

There was a Moet et Chandon cart (near to Mexico I think) and we developed an absolute obsession for one of their pink champagnes - Nectar Imperial Rose!!! I particularly liked it coz one afternoon the guy serving asked me for ID!!!

My fave stateroom is 8602, Deb - it's Starboard Aft and right by the tiny deck on Deck 8 as well as the secret stairs to Topsiders. Perfect for the morning dash for coffee and brekkie that my DH likes to do...

I just checked out your room in my Passporter - very cool as only one set of neighbours!
