Morning from across the pond... Off today on the 'Pick Up A Passport Pronto' expedition!!! Mine expires in November and is no use for this trip so, me being me, I've left it to the last possible moment to sort out... I have to make myself pretty, get passport photos taken about twenty times before I can tolerate what I see, head into London for my appointment at the Passport Office and wait around for hours until a new one is issued... Sounds like a fun day out, huh???!!! I've got my book and trusty iPod to keep me company so all will be well...

Ah man, I wouldn't mind a day just to knock about and kill a few hours in London!

Just booked the Wishes Dessert Party for the 10th!!! Looks like I will already be full before I get on the cruise!!

THEY EXTENDED IT???? I hadn't even mentioned it to my band of travelers as it was to end on Aug 29. I wonder if we even have time for them to check it out and us to consider it...I know it sells out FAST! (I also wasn't sure about spending the $$ for something I could get plenty of on the ship...though WDW does desserts better than DCL in my opinion.)

It has gone up $5 per person, and booking is a bit erratic with people being told some dates are sold out, then others reporting they booked those dates later!!! Happened to me!!! I wanted the 28th or 30th but the CM was adament they were sold out. Then I read on the Restaurant board that some have booked those dates since! TUT!

There was a link about about it in the news/recent updates section on the top of the Dis's main page. They just extended it yesterday and it's through the end of October.

Wake her, or just book for her. You know she would love it. You can book and pay, and then cancel up to 2 days before.

Hmmmm did I forget anyone? Off to read Kay's article and I'll be back - home on Furlough today - had to drop off Faith at the vet - HOPE was NOT happy I left the house with her AND didn't feed Hope... before I left. Thank God the vet's office is 1 mile from the house. Poor Faithy - she looked really mad at me leaving her there. Hope's blood work came back with high levels of enzymes (sp?) in her pancreas - so we will keep her on her new dog food and re-check her after our trip - and then get her teeth cleaned and her little tumor's removed... poor baby. I'm praying that with the dog food change that will clear up the blood work - if not - we'll have to figure out step two. She's not acting like it's bad though from the reports I've read - so I'm feeling lucky on this.

Friday going well so far. It's payday so can't beat that!!!!

Hope your doggy feels better soon. I know what it's like to have a pup on special diet and meds.

I believe Rachel is working on the new ship over in Germany. I have no idea what she could possibly be doing since they just laid the keel yesterday, but that's what I've heard is that she's working in DCL's office at the shipyard.

The Cast Member discount on the cruises is actually about 50%.
