OUR CRUISE DOCUMENTS HAVE ARRIVED!!!

Wow! What a happy surprise! I wonder if they send them a bit earlier necause it's going overseas? I wonder if ours will arrive this week? I expected them next week.

We are jumping on the Thread late, but here we go.

Teaghan 15 Months
Jim (Dad)
Maureen (Mom)

are so excited to be on this cruise.

This will be #5 for us...Going to be a challenge with the baby, but we should be ok.

Just wanted to throw our names in the hat. Our last cruise (when we found out about Teaghan) was in September 07. I think it was the 15 - 22. Not sure. Anyone on that cruise?

Anyway...Our good friends from Miami (Cecelia, Pedro, Andre and Eric) will be on this cruise with us. Can you believe we met these guys in line waiting for our 2nd Disney Cruise. Yup, that is right. We were waiting for the Magic to be ready from the 2005 refurb and we sat next to each other in line and started talking. We have been friends ever since. That is the Disney Magic.

My Brother and Sister-in-law will also be on this cruise as well as my wife's parents and their children.

Going to be a great trip.

Welcome Jim and family! DH and I were on an Eastern cruise in Sept. 07. Those dates sound about right so I guess we will be cruising together again. Looking forward to meeting you all this time!

Jan, so glad that Tom is doing well.

Harry's first round of chemo on Friday was very draining for him. It lasted over eight hours. He came home and slept all evening and all night. He felt quite well on Saturday though. Even his mood was better. I think he is finally accepting this and has gotten through the first big hurdle. The next big hurdle will be the hair loss. He has such a great head of hair too, which will make it that much harder. I am sure that there will be many ups and downs but it was so good to see him in a much better state of mind this weekend. DD had us over for dinner. It was a nice, relaxing evening.

Welcome Jim, to you and your whole cruising clan!


Three weeks (minus one day) of work for me. No big events (work-wise) coming up in that time, so things should be pretty routine. Which is good, because I don't have the focus for any special projects!

I plan on visiting the swimming pool and/or treadmill SERIOUSLY over the next three weeks to build up a bit of stamina for WDW, don't want to be a drag (literally!) for my playmates.

Built my packing 'staging' area yesterday afternoon. The suitcases are out, the cruise box has been gone through and expired medications tossed and replaced. Looks like I will be sending a box ahead to the ship. It will have some gifts, my dry erase boards, a small electric fan, and one or two other things that I won't need till after embakation. (hmmmmmm....might want that fan at WDW...better put that in the suitcase).

Now I see it's time to start the document watch!

Hey gang...... Final Fe list is just about ready to go. Just trying to see if Tinkrules is still going. You should have the list in the next day or so. I put them in room order so this should help with delivery.

Many of us have been desperately hoping that Tinkrules would be joining us, as we would love to see her and her mom, Barb, but Tinkrules has never been booked for the cruise, so it's not a matter of still going but if planning to book and go.

I would send her a PM.

Yes, but for me (time zone wise) today still counts as it hasn't happend yet! (except for one blurry hour on the computer). PLUS...I was talking 'work weeks'. So, for ME I have 14 work days left...how's that?

does anyone have experience with getting a taxi in st. thomas?

We will need one to get us from the ship to the courthouse to Magen's Bay and then back to the courthouse and back to the ship. Our wedding company suggested we set it up ahead of time b/c it is hard to find a regular taxi...they said most are large vans, etc. I am having trouble getting a response from any companies when trying to prearrange it.

Are there generally taxis waiting for cruisers at the port?
