Ian...received the ME tags! Thanks Oh, I think Marilyn is staying at SSR for at least part of her trip...though I may have that confused with someone else.

Well, I just realized I need to order a new Disney Rewards card too! So took care of that and will transfer over my balance after Aug billing date. STILL trying to decide if I should pre-pay tips and/or order gift card.

We leave for the airport on the 6th and fly on the 7th. We're staying at SSR. I feel I have so much to do and of course we have a big chance of getting Swine Flu as it really seems inevitable now. I would rather have it now when it is mild than in the winter when it might be bad.

Fortunately the old folk aren't getting this on the whole, seems they must have some kind of immunity from having something similar many years ago. Actually we are in the age group just under those who have immunity, so can be classed as young for a change.

Oh, and another thing, you had to go and raise the specter of getting sick before or during the trip didn't you? I have heavily invested in hand sanitizer mini portable packs to take on the cruise. I'm going to hose myself down with it periodically throughout the day.

You know, I wonder why no one has thought of creating a sunscreen spray that has antibacterial stuff in it?

I'm on a roll and über-chatty before leaving for work to lead the 3 WW meetings I lead on Sunday mornings.

I bought the Purex Complete yesterday and am going to give it a try.

(For my fellow Illinoisans, it is on sale at Jewel, 3 dollars off with a preferred card.)

I'm hoping that this become a good packable solution for detergent on trips.

Marilyn - I found out why the detergent tabs disappeared in the US. They did not do a good job of dissolving. I think probably most of us here have top loader machines, unlike in Europe, where due to limited space the norm is front load machines.

I however have a front-loader, I prefer it because the clothes come out cleaner, not all twisted up and mangled, and it uses less detergent and water.

How is Swine Flu over there? Here it is major news still and now we have a Pandemic help line and online survey, so you can be diagnosed with Swine Flu even if you only have a cold. I think we will soon have the largest number of Swine Flu cases!

It is still a very mild illness here and not even as bad as the normal flu for the majority of people, but our media hype it out of all proportion. I think it is just about inevitable we will get it at some time so now is better before it mutates and gets worse. They are threatening to keep schools closed when they are due to reopen in September, but really, when ever would they reopen them if they do that?

Some of those top loaders over there don't wash for long enough for the tablets to dissolve! The one in our villa on our last stay just didn't get the clothes clean at all, and the whites were terrible. The owner banned people from using anything with bleach in too.

This mad woman wants to remind you that we ARE having dinner together with Dianne that Friday. Of course, I'd love to rendezvous with M&J before that...ESPECIALLY if it involves ice cream!

That reminds me....do you know what time the fireworks are happening at MNSSHP? We'll be at Citricos for dinner and hope to walk outside and watch them from the GF, or maybe see them on our boat ride back to the VWL.

I was playing on the Disney World web-site yesterday and it isn't listed on the regular MK calander (which just shows the park closing at 7PM). Another funny thing...it didn't list Illuminations times on the calander (which is always 9PM anyway), nor show Off Kilter or British Invasion times. AND it didn't show the times for the Nemo show at AK. I think I may just need to do more exploring of the site. I fear they haven't listed those for Sept yet because they plan to CUT BACK some of them like they have Fantasmic.

Last year, I think the fireworks were around 10pm.

We are staying at VWL and check-in on the 4th. Our ME stuff arrived this week.

Keep in mind that their policy now is to send only one bag tag per person. I knew that wouldn't work for us and that we would have at least 3 bags between the 2 of us. If you need more tags, call DVC member services and request them. You don't have to wait for the ME stuff to arrive. The extra tags will be sent out separately.

I'll be giving the Purex Complete a test run sometime this week. If I can remember where our washing machine is, that is!

Finished putting magnets on all our door signs, but had to make a list for the few remaining signs I'd like to create this week. Just need to "hold the mail" now and I'm pretty much ready to pack - except yesterday I realized it would be nice if I got my DH his new hat and some white shorts ... but THEN I'll be done!
