I'll booking Palo dinner, Palo brunch, a shore excursion on Tortola (still waiting on everyone to decide, tick tock), and a cabana massage for me on CC. I think that's everything.

Well if it's just you, me and Kaz booking tonight....we should all get what we want without any fishies showing up.

I can't believe everyone hasn't decided on a Tortola excursion yet.....you're booking tonight. Talk about down to the wire. And I LOVED the cabana massage on CC. John and I did one on our first cruise in 2001. Great memories. I can't get a massage anymore because of chronic pain. Massages just hurt now. So John gets a hot stone massage and I skip it.

We've got it narrowed down to two, it's just getting everyone to sit down and look at them and say I want to do this one. Or I might just book one of the two and say this is the one we're doing.

I try to get a massage everytime. Absolutely love them. I thought about trying the spa villa this time, but I decided to save it for next year since we'll be in the Baltic and we won't get to CC, so no cabana massage next year.

I am booking Palo brunch, tea and dinner tonight. I do not think that I will be booking any excursions yet. I am not big on excursions, I would rather stroll through the "shopping areas" for a while and then get back onboard and enjoy the quiet(er) ship. Plus there are not many excursions that I am interested in that allow 3 & 5 yr olds.

Wasn't there a butterfly farm at one of our stops? Gotta find that one...

Hi Stacy.....since I bought the REAS package.....I get to book tonight at midnight....so I'll be booking a high tea for four.....you and me and Kathe and Vicki. So excited that I get to book tonight. YEAH!

Oh My Goodness!!!! Thank You!!!! :worship:

I'm jealous, I have to wait til June 14th to try and book anything :sad2:

Ian, :sad2::rolleyes::laughing:

Can't remember what else I was going to say....sitting at my desk with a pile of food in front of me, chomping away, dancing smilies all over my computer screen, and three people have interrupted me saying "are you at lunch?" DUH!

And if they keep interrupting me, I'll still be 'at lunch' till 4 o'clock.

Tell them no I'm just sitting here with food in front of me for no reason.:lmao:

Wouldn't you know it....I said to myself....just one last look at the Tortola excursions to be sure that we picked the right one. Now I changed my mind. Insead of land and sea.....I want to do Island tour, beach and lunch. I have to wait for John to get home and check with him. Then I'll probably go for the tour I just found.

I'm hoping to get Mon 9/14 our second sea day for our high tea. The day before will be the Champagne Girls and Shots Around The Ship.....so I don't want to plan anything too early the following sea day. Tea in the afternoon will be perfect.

I think it was worth ordering the REAS package just so I could book tonight. A little more than 6 hrs to go. After that I can do the online check in and really be ready to go. I'll just have to wait for my tickets to come.

I find myself saying, "happy birthday" quite often to people who do that to me. Well, of course the actual words that come out of my mouth aren't "happy birthday," but I'm sure you get the drift.

(They're "not now." OK, everyone with a potty mind, raise your hand)

The butterfly farm is in St. Thomas and it is a 3 minute walk from the ship. Jan posted a link to the site on the first page of this thread. From there you can also send them an email for more info.

I think we at long last have settled on our activities and excursions for the cruise.

St. Thomas - Hysteric Walking Tour (and if we can find them afterwards, possibly an hour of either having a beverage with Jackie and Dianne or annoying Jackie and Dianne).

Tortola - Land Sea Tour

It really is sort of odd to be going on a Caribbean cruise and neither of us care very much for either the sand or the ocean.

We're really only on this cruise because Jackie threatened us.

(Well that and possibly that there are hoards of people we're extremely fond of on the cruise too [I hate it when I have to try to be nice] )

Deb, I'll be joining you in the booking party tonight. I'm so excited, but stressed at the same time making sure I know everything I need to book for all of us. I've got to write down my check list later.

I am hoping to book Palo brunch and dinner; a massage for Richard when we girlies are savouring champers; the half-day Virgin Gorda excursion; the Skyride to Paradise Point; the tandem parasailing and the watercraft ski adventure on Castaway Cay... :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Ooooh!!!! Just realised - less than twelve hours to go!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I'm so excited for everyone who gets to book tonight!!! (especially for Deb and the high tea ;) )

I hope everyone gets what they are hoping for :goodvibes

Hello from Vancouver, B.C.

After cruising for 70 days, we disembarked the Volendam this morning. It was an incredible adventure. We will spend one week in Vancouver before returning home.

Best,
Woody

I'm glad you've had a wonderful trip!!!

Looking forward to seeing you in Sept, I would love to hear of your travels, I'm sure you and Mrs Woody have many wonderful stories to tell :goodvibes

I want to do the Baths in Tortola, but am having a hard time deciding on my St. Thomas excursion, I'll have to check out the Hysteric excursion ;)

GOOD JOB KAY! :thumbsup2

WELCOME, WELCOME to all the newbies and the lurkers who have now spoken up! I figured as final payment drew near we'd start hearing from people! :grouphug:

I'll probably be calling our TA to do mine tomorrow morning!!! Unless I sleep in that is.

Been REALLY busy at work as my team=mate is on vacation (one day in Disneyland :upsidedow) and my home internet was down for two days, so I haven't been able to take care of personal business this week.

I think the R-R clan will be having a conference call this weekend to talk about Palo dinner, embarkation wear, formal wear, and a few other items. Some things don't require decisions right this minute, but we need to have everyone thinking about them.

Question of the Day:

What do YOU think is the best color to wear for the embarkation photo?

.

nude.... :rolleyes1

;)

Hi Jackie!!! Can you believe that this cruise is getting so much closer? :goodvibes

Kathe

Yes... at Dinner I was telling her about the 105 day mark and she has already declared summer over... :rotfl:
