That link under St Thomas is for a hotel that allows 'day guests'. You can use their pool and facilities...so you can do that instead of a DCL excursion.

Neither do we! We have done an Eastern before and did city tours in
St. Thomas and Saint Maarten, and wasnt impressed with either. Not sure what we will do this time!

I haven't looked at the excursions for a while, but I seem to remember an island tour.

Not sure about the baths but will look at that again. I never like all day excursions.

My friend and I went to Great Barrier Reef in 1988, at Airlie, Hamilton Island and Daydream island, what a great memory as it was so awesome...

Isn't that place amazing?? I stayed at the Radisson there in Cairns in 2004 & the GBR was my 1st snorkeling experience (and it's been a passion ever since).

You should try a hot air balloon ride over the rainforest & Kuranda (there's a great restaurant at the top (not too far from the Skyrail)).

Glad you guys are having a great time - can't wait to hear all about it.

We will be in room 7002.

Our hotel for the night before is booked, Passport documents have been printed and will be turned in next week.

ETA DD#1 is Megan and she will be 5 (barely her Bday is 8/25) at cruise time. DD#2 is Lauren and she will be 3.5

We are from Lansing Kansas and will all have Main dining.

The kids still don't know we're cruising Disney. They think we're doing the Carnival that leaves from Port Canaveral the same day. Hopefully we can keep the secret until we pull into port.

This is my first post in a couple of years (since our last cruise 3 years ago). Don't know why, but I was nervous about posting. My DH (Steve) and DD (2)(Chloe) will be on the 9/12 Tortola cruise, and just wanted to come over and introduce ourselves. This is our 3rd Disney cruise. We are from Charlotte, NC, and are so excited as this will be our daughter's first cruise, although not her first travel experience. We adopted her from Vietnam last year, so she has more frequent flyer miles at 2 than many adults that I know. We also took her to WDW last September. Looking forward to getting to know everyone, and seeing you all onboard. We are in cabin #8060. Kristen

DH and I were married on a princess cruise so we are big cruising fans. My mom and dad are going with us too. We are in adjoining rooms on deck 2 but can't remember the number. Are interested in knowing more about FE. Working on our magnets already. I am really loving these boards. My husband says I'm obsessed!!! Please add us to the list our last name is Hodges. I was going to put a picture but no sure how to do it.

You will LOVE cruising with THE MOUSE! This will be my fifth cruise with DCL so I guess you could say I'm hooked.


Our thread has been a little slow lately, but I'm guessing things will pick up as we get closer to final payment day. Lot's of decisions to be made regarding excursions and the like. Several of our DIS cruise-mates have April/May vacations also, so they are a little focused on that right now.

I haven't posted much lately, as I've had my nose in one book or another for the past couple of weeks. Finished two big ones....World Without End and the 7th Harry Potter. Then read the entire eight book Sookie Stackhouse series. The HBO series "True Blood" is based on these books, so now I'm waiting for that to come out on DVD (in May) so I can check it out.
