5 1/2 months and counting down! WOO HOO!!!

We're doing a couple of days at DW before the cruise. Anyone else hanging at the MK beforehand? They just announced that there will be a Pirates and Princesses Party at MK on August 31, the day we will be in the MK. I think we're going to bite the bullet and do the party. Yeah - because my kids totally need to be overstimulated before we even get on the ship! hee hee

Y'know Disney - something for everyone! On the ship it is just a pirate party but at MK - there just has to be an opportunity for girls to dress up too. And yes, Elizabeth and I will be arguing over who gets to wear the tiara!!!!!

Joseph wants to save his money and buy a Jack Sparrow costume. I'm thinking of giving in - he can wear it for the party, for the cruise and then for Halloween! I'll have to see what's available come August.

Hi Everyone, we just booked this cruise!! It'll be our first 7 night on Disney, we're very excited!! Only 5 months and some days to go!!!

My DD can't wait, everyday she mentions the Mickey cruise. She had so much fun on our last cruise we decided to book this one to celebrate her 3rd bday.

It'll be me (29), DH(30) and DD(2, almost 3 at time of sailing). Anybody else going with a toddler/pre-schooler?

Welcome! I'm sure others here will be traveling with pre-schoolers. This thread has been quiet for awhile but with time creeping along (and it is creeping second by second for me!) I'm betting that people will start posting again soon.

just found this thread, we have a group of 7 going, two families. My sister and her DH, DD - 14 yrs, DS - 12 yrs, and us - DH & DD 4 yrs.
Hope to get to know some families with kids in our age group..

We are sailing Sept 1 as well. We will be flying in early morning 8-31. Not sure where we will stay yet. It will be me, DH and DD who will be 3 by then. We have never cruised so we are thrilled with the idea and a disney cruise-even better.

We have alot of people goin go the cruise. It will be my Mom and Dad My three younger sisters ( 16,12 and 10) Me (18) My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin (9 months at the time)

DW and I will be sailing with DS, who will have just turned 3. This will be our 4th cruise overall (3rd on DCL) but our first 7 day on Disney. We re-booked onboard last year and have been excited ever since.

Do you think there's any reason to be concerned about the fact that this will be the first "regular" caribbean cruise following the Med?

well thanks to all the great info on these boards we decided to ditch the ground transportation that disney provides and rent a car. I am very happy with this choice, now we can get to the terminal when we want. Which for me will not be soon enough. I keep telling my husband I want to be the first one on the ship and the last one off. we will see. under 4 months now.

Hey Everyone, less than 4 months to go!! Our final payments are due at the end of the month, then we can begin making reservations for Palo and the spa at the 90 day mark!!

Someone please confirm, can we book more than 1 meal at Palo? I'd like to do a dinner and a brunch. But some people are saying we can only choose one.

I hope to get DD fully potty trained by then... if not, there's always Flounder's.
