Sept. UY? HTF?

Im new to DVC, I bought in direct to BCV. I have been checking the resale market to add-on, Ive noticed finding a Sept UY is rare? Of all the TTS listings, there are about seven total for all resorts? Is this a tough UY to find or just bad timing for me? I know I can go with a different UY, but I thought if I kept it the same it would be much easier to manage.

I just added ona couple months ago and was looking for aug uy and everything seemed to be sept??

Just keep looking , sooner then later you will find a Sept. UY I just closed on Sept. and they are out there. You can call a resale broker and ask them to look for you, and that might help. Just tell them what you what, and it doesn't cost you any thing extra.

I have a Sept UY and did an add on a few months ago. It did take a while to find just what I was looking for. It seemed that every other month was out there! If you can take your time something will come along eventually. It will be worth it to have the same UY and not have a new membership number and worry about transferring between the two.

I think all resale were picked over pre 3/20 (so many sold) Keep looking. I saw 1 on Fidelity 100 points BVC for 85.00 with Sept UY. Remember you can always make an offer.

I think Murphy's Law comes into play when you are looking for a specific UY and resort. A while back we were looking for a SSR resale contract with a February UY, but could not find one. We finally added on at AKV instead. Then, after we closed on the AKV deed, every week there seemed to be two or three February SSR deeds showing up on the Timeshare Store's email list.

It does not surprise me that September UY deeds are more difficult to find on the resale market. For the WDW DVC resorts, the September UY is the third least common UY. See http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2704402 for a comparison of the UY distribution for the WDW resorts.

LOL - always love that chart WDRL! I have Apr and Oct UY's. And when I look I find every other UY with contracts I like. Definitely Murphy's law at work.

There are charts on DVCNews that show the percentage by UY.

Sept, Oct & Apr are the lowest.
