Sept UY can I book ?

Booking a 6/2021 using 100 points.
Want to book home resort for Thanksgiving 2021.
Do I bank my leftover 50 points into my 2021 Sept UY if I am booking in December 2020 for my Nov2021 trip? Thinking because my trip falls within my 2021-2022 UY. I will need to also borrow when booking to cover full length.

So I will bank in December, but also have to borrow for my reservation. So it should pull those banked December points first then I can borrow up to 50% to make that reservation correct. Weird to bank then pull to make reservation.

If memory serves, it will give you the option to bank and/or borrow when you book.

You can bank prior to making it or during the process. iMO I’d do it before so it’s one less step as things move quickly that time of year and until you hit submit to book, something could happen.
