Sept. Universal specials?

I'm wondering if Universal ever has short stay promotions. We're spending 2 nights in or near Universal in September. The prices appear unwaivering...I think my best deal may be through Southwest if I can roll my airfare into a 2 night package (even though the vacation is a 10 days). Any other ideas?

Other than Labor Day weekend, you might find really cheap rates on hotels in the Orlando area because September is a very quiet month. Onsite hotel rooms will be at the bare minimum cost, which is usually $129 for RPR, $139-$149 for HRH, and $149-$159 for PBH.

FutureGuy - when do you think those rates will start showing up? I'm still getting $219-$249 at HRH. I keep watching and I believe they will come down, I'm just impatient. *laugh*

I got an AP rate of $149 for HRH during the week, and $179 on weekends.

Think they'll go any lower? Best I remember, these were the prices I paid last year, too.

i found that the prices last year for hrh were cheaper the last week of sept.


the first weekend of october are higher this year than last !
