We cruised in October of 2002 and were totally diverted form the itenary of the western because of a hurricane. We went to castaway cay twice, st thomas, and puerto rico. We still had the time of our lives and would not hesitate to go that time of year again. I think the cances of that happening is very slim. There were some people who were very upset by the changes and complaining loudly but they were few. They probably would have been upset anyway over something else It's all in your attitude, if you go ready to have a blast than you will no matter where you are sailing. Castaway Cay is awesome and we were glad to go there twice. IMHO You could just sail around in circles and have the time of your life the boat is so awesome. Have a great trip and don't worry about the weather. YOu will be very well taken care of
