Sept pin event question ASAP!!

We are planning on attending the sept. pin event but cannot get into Orlando untill just after noon on Friday. My question is-if we sign up for the event package will our pin/lanyard/gift and the items we preorder be held for us or since we can't attend the breakfast activities will we be a 'no-show'and our package stuff be sold to someone else?? I need to find this out before the reg. starts in the morning THANKS

Im not sure, but from what I understand everything is reserved until the last two days. It sounds like on the the REGISTERED guest are allowed to participate on the first day of the event. I would call the events hotline and ask. I don't know If you can find that out by tomorrow though.
This is my first event. I was wondering how I send the email (with credit card info) with my signature on it. If it doesn't have my sig, will they not count it as a registration?
How quick do the slots got for these events? Will you be clicking "send" at 07:59:59?

Well, I'm up nice and early so I can be someplace to fax at 8:00 AM

Bev, hope you see this in time. My suggestion is this -- fax in your registration, then call later this afternoon or tomorrow to confirm that it was received. When you do, explain what you said above and ask if the pin, lanyard, etc., will be held for you. If not, then you have until August 20th to cancel.

I'm not sure about the signature part either, which is why I'm off to find a fax machine so early. Disney says something on their official site about online registration, but it's unclear if it'll be an actual online registration form vs. an e-mail.

It'll probably be like last year's August event where people registered for the breakfast but anyone could participate in the event. I think those that register will get to fill out the RSPs in advance, but that's speculation.

Hi! I just got off the phone with Event Services. I will not be getting into Orlando till later in the afternoon, and I wanted to find out if it was worth registering. I was told I would miss most of the activities, but they would hold anything I preordered till Sunday. So I guess I will try it.

Thanks for your replies, I tried faxing my registration this am for 1.5 hrs and no luck, so I sent a e-mail with our info to them so I guess we will see what happens and be happy with what we get. We are not worried about missing out on the breakfast or the morning activities just wanted to make sure we get what we ordered and the event items.
