Sept/Oct Code watch

I am already subscribed to the April/May thread and still waiting but I thought I might as well join in here also and get twice as frustrated.

We are planning two trips this year but we are very flexible as to when we go.

If it is free food October will suit us fine otherwise after Thanksgiving will be our plan!

I'm hoping to get back in September. It will be me and 5 kids. We went last September, NO dining plan, and even though it was HOT, it was so uncrowded that we loved it. We were thinking of going in January 2007, but the kids would rather go this September. So I'll be watching for codes, too!

Love your pic! We will be going inSept!!! (and May....06) never been in MAY, so we'll seeee. But oh September!!! I t was the most perfect time to go!!! NO CROWDS AT ALL!!!! The park is practically empty, we didn't have to wait for anything!!!! Not a drop of rain, beautiful sunshine ... it was the 11th to the 18th, plus we got the most awesome deals on flights, it cost 750 u.s for 6 of us!
Where do you stay, being that there will be six of you also. We stayed at th ePOP, it was fun, we had the 70's building , close to everything! Only complaint that after a long day at multiple parks, the walk was VERY undesirable!!!! back to the bus stop! It always seemed like we were the last ones....correction POP is the last one, it is also the biggest value and busiest!!!!

Subscribing as well. I just found disboards and I am hooked. I am planning to take DW and DD3 September 9 - 14. DD's birthday is on the 13th. This will be my 6th trip to WDW and their first. So if I book now and codes come out later do they just refund you the money?? Is it better to wait or book now?? We are also planning to purchase dining plan....Is it better to book things seperately or as a package?? I think I am confusing myself. Are there any other helpful threads on this board to a newbie such as myself?? Thanks

First timer here! Going October 4th -11th then heading down to St Petes from 11th -15th to chill out and unwind before flying back to Tx!

Very excited! And very confugled!!!! We have looked at all possible ways to do this trip. From POR (wont do value, hate the pools...) to off site like the Hilton at DTD We can get a nice 1 bdr suite off property for 125.00/nt thru mousesavers, but know we will lose some of the disney magic.

If we stay on property we will most likely do the dining plan. Is it WAY cheaper to book everything seperatly? If you can save $$ then it will more than pay for meals right? ugh i told you im confused!

I also see lots of people already reserving/booking rooms. Can you cancel them without a penalty? Should I do this?

Egads im asking to many questions lol, just excited i guess

Just sending us some more PD! I'm waiting on my sister to actually figure out when in Sept.Oct I will be going now (on Sunday she said the magic words oh I want to go to Disney!!). I can only hope that the rates are released around June 1 again this year

Add us to the many who are waiting and hoping . Our family of five has a reservation at POR for 10/6 - 10/14 with the dining plan. AAA will save us about $200, but I am hoping for a better deal.

I know that a few people had mentioned a previous code for the dining plan and that it inlcuded 1 Table Meal, 1 Counter Meal, and 1 Snack. I was curious to know if there were limits on what restaurants could be used for the table meal, i.e. were there price limits on the meals? Any info would be great!

I sincerely doubt there will be free dining offered again this year. It was an introductory deal last year to aquaint people with the plan. I'd love to have to eat my words on this but the price has already gone up on it once so don't hold your breath for it to be free again. If I'm wrong I'll nekkid in the middle of Main Street.

Subscribing as well. I have been addicted to these boards for weeks and am already planning our trip for Oct.28-Nov. 3rd. Lookn for codes too. Guess I need public ones only. I read on another thread that mousesavers has a code out for 10/23-11/23. Has anyone seen this or am I mistaken.
I am just overwhelmed by all the information and think it will take me till our trip to figure everything out!
