Sept / Oct 2011

We get to WDW (Beach club) on 10 September and leave on the 16th. I need something to keep me busy till we leave for oour cruise on 24 August. All the planning is done, the reseevations booked, the foreign currency purchased and I am getting restless!

Bump...
And (here comes my cluelessness lol) if you book [the Wishes Dessert party], does that mean you need to do MK that day or can you come in from any park? I'm guessing it means it needs to be a MK day...

Does anybody know about this? I'd quite like to book online, but it seems strange committing a day to the Magic Kingdom this far out (yanno, without having yet fully investigating whether it's historically a quiet or busy day, whether there are magic hours, etc tiny detailed etc! :rotfl:).

I am pretty sure you will need to have a ticket for entry into the Magic kingdom - you will be OK if you have park hoppers.
Otherwise yes, you are committed to spending the day at MK.

Oh, that is where I'm at. It's close enough to start getting excited but too far away to do anything about.
I have everything booked. All the spending money converted and on one of those card thingys. A rough schedule worked out. I purchased our carry on bags. We have this nasty stop over in LA-we arrive at 7ish in the morning and flyout to Orlando at 10pm on the same day so I have booked a hotel for the day near the airport so we need some togs and a change of clothes.....Is it to early to start packing?:rotfl2: hehe

That is totally me too!, Although I am waiting on our holiday pays to cover the rest of our spending money - lets hope the $ stays up.

I feel like I have read everything ever written about WDW, in fact I feel like I have already been.:rotfl:

ROLL ON SEPTEMBER!!!

I have to force myself to not read some stuff as none of our family like spoilers. I couldn't look at the link for the food preview for the Food and Wine Festival. I want some surprises.:yay:
But, tonight I'm starting my son's training. I'm parking a distance from school and walking to get him so that he has to walk home. I'll gradually increase the distance so he has some walking endurance.
I started my "get fit for summer" campaign today *** we get summer a little earlier this year!!!:beach:

You can add us...

Busy Busy: September 21 - October 3 at Wilderness Lodge (+NYC, Bahamas & Vegas)....WOW!!! :dance3:

Somebody pinch me!

We are disneyland Sept 23-27 and WDW Oct 14-21

I can't remember if I introduced myself or not as I tend to lurk somewhat!
I'm from Melbourne. Got a hubby and a 10year old son.
We're all getting a wee bit excited...:yay:
We're leaving on the 16th September-Staying at Coco Key Resort until the 29th. Then we're staying at All Star Movies until the 12 October.
Oh so exciting
59 days to go.:hourglass

Wow bond girl, another 16th of September family!! There will quite a few of us finding it hard to sleep on that Thursday night before we leave!

But I think I may of missed one, but my brain isn't working too well tonight, so if I think I added you and I didn't just let me know.

Gosh, I've just realised that I'm going to miss you all so much when you leave throughout September and it will just be me and a couple of others left in this Sept/Oct group still waiting for our trips! :scared1:

So with only 10 days to go:jumping1: I thought i should probably buy some travel insurance :sad2: Cant say i was overly impressed with any of them when i read every word of their policy but i went with Southern cross they only charged me $50 extra for asthma:)

Tomorrow i will change over DH's pay which will be the last we are changing over till holiday pay comes in but for some silly reason :confused:we chose to get it weekly instead of in a lump sum.

:tinker: Tax return only took 8 days so between that and family tax benefit we actually have all the cash we budgeted to spend so now holiday pay is a nice bonus:cloud9:
