Sept Event pin traders - how do you store your pins?

To experienced September event pin traders: We have never been to a pin event before but have several pins. How many pins do you bring and how is the best way to carry them around the parks? Our thoughts are to leave the pins we absolutely don't want to trade at home and bring everything else. Beyond that, can't decide how to distinguish between our lower level of pins and ones only a serious collector would want to look at. It would be a "pain" carrying lots of pins around every day. Are the September event activities only in Epcot? Or will you go to all the parks? Need lots of expert advice!!

One thing we've learned over time is to travel light. Make sure you're not overloaded or you'll wear yourself out even faster. Definitely don't worry about bringing your keepers.

For the SSE, I took our pin trading backpack and the pin fanny pack Lauri got at the AK event, plus lanyards (a certain adventurer in Arizona sent me a proxy lanyard). I eventually decided to just go with the hip pack during the day and carried the backpack with me to pin meets.

The only thing is, you never know what someone is going to be interested in. You may leave something at home and end up meeting someone that will say they're looking for what you left behind.

The Pin Event activities will be in the World Showplace pavillion at Epcot, but there will be things happening all over WDW -- the new Disney Pin Traders at DTD, the Friday night Contemporary meet, and of course the Great Pin Adventure 2. :)

Matt is right... Ya never know when you might need your pins. I use a back pack and I just got my first pin bag. I don't bring my pins with me all the time unless I'm going to Epcot. When I go to the other parks I bring a small pin bag or just a few lanyard traders. Most of the traders are in Epcot. I do try and Make Scoops 1pm Pin Talk though in the MK and I do bring my pins to that. If you want to bring your pins all the time you might want to get a locker so you can do a few rides and stuff though... Yes they have rides in WDW...

Where does one get a fanny pack, or hip pack...something you can wear comfortably around the park and still have access to some pins? I mean, I have a regular fanny pack, but I'm thinking that a pin fanny pack actually has something special about it that's made for pins?
