You aren't the only one who wants to know :D

I was there over Labor Day weekend. Upon waiting a very long time after FITS on Sunday evening for a launch to the Poly, we finally got aboard. My husband and I were chatting with the pilot who said that Disney underestimated how busy Labor Day weekend was and that is why they were understaffed and guests had to wait so long. He said the park count for MK was around 55 thousand on Saturday. My husband and I went to MGM on Sunday morning and by noon, Sunset Boulevard was PACKED and we left. We also went to MGM on Monday and noticed the crowds were WAY down from just the day before. So, to answer your question, I don't think crowds will be that bad, but I do think they'll be a bit up from last year due to the FTP.

 Hi from WDW!

I'm very pleased to report that Mon and Tues, practically everything at MGM, AK and MK have been walk ons (or just a VERY short wait)- this includes Splash, Space, ToT, Primevil Whirl, KS, Kali, Fantasyland, etc.

At Epcot on Monday, MS and TT had decent waits; I used Fast Pass for MS and single rider line for TT.

Actually, many rides had the FP machines closed because it was pretty silly when things were walk ons. Seriously, you could go up to Splash at 10-11am and just hop right on a log. :teeth:

I was surprised Monday was so empty. Sunday, OTOH, was quite a bit crowded at both MGM and MK.

Thanks for the info! Just what i wanted to hear.
Enjoy!

"I love it when a plan comes together!"

That's exactly what I wanted to hear and exactly why I planned a trip in September. Woo Hoo!

Those crowds sound wonderful!! I cant wait! I'm soooo excited!!

In the words of my DD, "Whee-haw!" Good news to hear.
I've never been to Orlando in September---when I was younger, we always went during school break in the summer; once I was out of school, usually was down there for continuing ed conference in January.
Now----if we can just keep Fabian (or any other "little" weather disturbances) out to sea, we will all be very happy.......

Woohoo!:bounce: :bounce:
I am so excited to go..and have been a little concerned about the crowds due to the FTP..I'm keeping my fingers crossed that SEpt. stays pretty quiet at the parks!
This weather isn't doing anything to help calm me down..feels like fall is really here in NJ and it makes me want to take all my summer clothes out of the drawers and pack them for our trip! LOL

We always go in Sept.....each year the crowds seem lighter and lighter....even if there were a large number of people there due to the FTP, it will still not be "crowded".....Last year we did not wait for anything...to give you an example we got to ride Test Track 3 times in a row without ever getting off because no one was in line.....see you all there in 9 days wooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooo

Its always so exciting when its down to the wire. I can hardly contain myself!! And this is a surprise for the kids so I cant even talk about it!!!!
ARGHH
The beauty of it all!!!!!!!!!!!
:)

Very excited to hear about the crowds as well. This will be my first trip in 15 years! I'm taking my 4 YO DD for the first time. I can't wait! Any news on the weather at the end of September? we will be there 22-26.

September Crowds? I thought a crowd in September was having to wait 5 minutes. ;) Have so much fun everyone and I'll see you all next September. Someone give the mouse a hug for me will ya.

Woo you just made my whole day....see everyone there in 10 days....:)

What GREAT news to start my day!!!!! I had started to have doubts about out timing with the FTP and all the weather stuff! Thanky you SO much! Can't wait to get there!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
