sept b-day trip--need some advice

Hi gang!

I have ressies for 4 nights in late september at vwl to celebrate our then-4 yo's birthday.

I realized today that I haven't made very many plans (regarding transpo from airport, ps, etc...) and need a little help.

In years past (before we got smart and bought DVC ) we had used a car service that I believe was called Transtar (I know it was NOT meers and that we got picked up in a towncar). Last year when I mentioned that service to MS for our trip this past January, she got us a "comparable" service thru Meers and it ended up being a taxi cab with a driver who spoke very little English. We would like to get back to more of the professional driver/town car type service. Who should I ask for??????

Also, I remember noticing on our VWL info at check-in that you can order a b-day cake through the lodge which I plan to do. Any other suggestions? And can MS take care of arranging that stuff?

MS uses "official" Disney service providers, like Mears. If you want another service, you will need to book it yourself. You can try one of the transportation companies that sponsor the DIS- FL Tours or Your Ride. They both do a good job and are easy to reach online thru this site.

You may need to call the resort directly to order a cake, but I'd try MS first to see if they can assist.
