Sept 9th 2010 - Wonder 3 Night Cruise

I can pack for a week in a carryon. Our family motto is "if it can't fit in a carryon then you don't need it".

I SOOOOO wish I had that ability. That's truly a skill.

Actually though, the airline I'm flying on has fees even for carry-ons, and since I'm a member of their "club" the fee for the first checked bag is $1 cheaper than the fee for a carry-on. So it all works out.

We switched to only carry on once they started charging for checked bags. It really cut down on what we carry. We though are the pain in the butt people desperately clawing their way on the plane first so we can get the luggage bins. I don't mind gate checking the bags. I just have a problem paying for it at the check in. It does tend to make long trips outside of the country interesting. This is our first cruise since we went checked bag free. I'm sure we'll be fine since there is no formal night.

Are you flying Spirit? I'm from South Jersey and when ever my parents fly to Florida they fly Spirit. They are meeting up with us in the World in December and they already have tickets on Spirit.

Did you edit your post or did I just miss this part yesterday?? :confused3

Yup, flying Spirit out of AC. Takes me about 50 minutes to get to the airport from Forked River (Exit 74). I used to love Spirit, but I'm starting to lose the warm fuzzies I had from them in the past. The fares are generally great, but they change the flight times too often and they're really starting to nickel and dime for everything.

I edited. Looks like TS Gaston is going to be causing us problems. Sorta fitting since it is a Disney cruise and he is a Disney villan.

Obviously, I'm late to the thread and haven't read through it all, but are you guys meeting for Sailaway? Not sure I can get there, but I can try!

Welcome Sweetangel. It is never too late to join the party. We are trying to do a meet sometime in the terminal. Look for the guys in the green hard hats.

I still haven't figured out what to do in Nassau yet also and have had this booked for a while. LOL

I dont usually do anything in Nassau - usually just walk around, this time I think I would like to do the Dolphin excursion; but reviews on that seem to be mixed.

In Nassau we are going to hit the straw market and the pirate museum. This trip for me is mainly about the boat. Been to Nassau before and DH said I only get one Disney cruise so I really want to take advantage of everything on the boat.

Only one Disney Cruise? Hopefully by the end your DH will understand why that must not come true :) Especially with a three day there is so much more to see and do - I don't think it will be hard to convince him :)

What category did you book?

Anybody gonna rebook for the Dream? I would love too, but will probably have to wait. :sad1:
