I'm so excited, my friend Calfan and I just signed up for this cruise this morning, taking advantage of the *GT rates for our first girls trip without dh's and kids! We would have done the dvc special, but I couldn't pull the trigger quick enough and all dates are sold out. I'll read through the entire thread soon, but just wanted to say "hi."

Thanks for the replies about travel! We are going to come in a day early, and may even ship our luggage to the hotel so we do not have to deal with on public transit.

Calfan here. Just wanted to say "hi" as well. I am so excited CaliforniaGirl09 and I were able to book this cruise. We have been stalking it for awhile and just got to the point that we could pull the trigger. I'm looking forward to reading through the whole thread.

Is the added expense to ship luggage worth the little bit of inconvenience to carry it on public transit? Just me thinking out loud.

My SIlL used to live in Manchester so I know right where you all are 'neighbor' yes, I think we need a generator too between Irene last year and this Year's weather. I bet she will love the present. Are they coming on the cruise?

Just DH and I on this cruise. Our DD and DSIL went on a honeymoon cruise on the Fantasy the beginning of may.
