We sail in 38 weeks!

Sorry - I'm a day late with the update - too busy yesterday in Key West. We are at Sea right now having a wonderful time!

Got some news for everyone - guess who will be sailing with us? Don "Ducky" Williams! Just came from a presentation by him (and was lucky enough to win the raffle for one of his sketches). He said he is doing 9 cruises next year including both of the 14 days and the DVC cruise! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so jealous!! 38 weeks seems so far off, especially since it's -3 here right now with a -26 wind chill. I really don't think I'm going to make it. I may freeze to death first!!

Insurance question - is everyone going with the carrier suggested by DVC or are there other options?

Chipscinderelly - not sure how it works if you paid with points. We paid cash for the whole trip and will (thanks for the reminder) get our own insurance after checking each of the companies at insuremytrip.com It most times is much cheaper to purchase the insurance on your own.

Hi everybody, It's 2 am here in Indy. I just finished snow blowing the cul de sac and my driveway because the 8-9 inches of snow is almost more than the blower can handle without difficulty. This came down since about 6PM tonight. It looks like there will be more (4-8") yet to come. Looks great about Ducky Williams as I will have an aspiring artist with me. Hope everyone has a merry Christmas.

Did ya all get the DVC email update. Nothing that exciting to me , more info here. But it is nice to get.

Lucky to get a couple of days off, before Christmas, Lynn and I even have one day off together, today. She has to work off and on this weekend. I am on call so we will see if people are naughty (I work) or nice (I don't work)

Hi everyone from up here in frozen SE Michigan!!! We got 5 in of snow last night. We sure wish we were on a cruise right now!! We have enjoyed keeping up with all the news here. Have a GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON EVERYONE!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas from cold and snowy Michigan. We had 10 inches of snow fall today. It sure seem like there are a lot of others from MI going on the cruise.

New tidbit of info courtesy of Ohiominnie...

This comes straight from someone at Disney, they have plans in place to blow away the inaugural Member Cruise. Nothing else divulged other than they have more opportunity to make this one far better than the last one. WOW, one great cruise now and the next one is already out there. So looking forward to this one already.

Hello from even snowier southern Indiana. We live about 20 miles south of I-64 which has been closed since Wed. night. It's really strange to see our little corner of the world being featured on CNN and the Weather Channel. Anyway, here's to warm weather in September when we're cruisin' together!
