OMG - no posts since this morning. We were almost off of page #1. I missed a lot of you guys in chat last night. It was only Mary, Cheryl and myself. I think that it was the first time in weeks that there were more regular chatters than SSMC05 chatters.

Well, our garage sale went well. We ended up making $120 and my mom made $80. I sent some books & small appliances to the Goodwill. I boxed up the rest of my Partylite candle stuff, kids toys, etc and plan on taking pictures and putting them on eBay next week.

But I have a real announcment from Webmaster Alex:

The boards will be going down tonite, Saturday at Midnite eastern time. They will be down for an extended period, possibly 8-10 hours for maintanence

Call in day for Member Cruise 2006 is 4 weeks away!

I am sad to announce we have talked about SSMC06 and there is a good chance we are not going to even try to get on the ship (I know, I know, more room for you!) Financially, we've got our limit of cruises scheduled, we aren't thrilled with two days at CC esp considering our 5/06 cruise will have two stop there, and we are ALL missing our time at WDW. Since we've started cruising, we've had to severely limit our time there. I think our plan will be to skip SSMC06 and instead do two weeks at WDW in early December 06.

It does make me sad to know you'll all go on and have fun without me. And sad to know that there will actually be a cruise where I *won't* get a Mark and Mary button!


ok, truth be told, Mark and Mary have a restraining order against me b/c they were creeped out I always cruised when they did!!

Sorry to hear you are thinking about not going on the Member Cruise. I too hate making that decision between less time at WDW and more cruises or less cruises and more WDW time. Then John whines about going somewhere else for vacation - who's he kidding - isn't cruising and WDW the only vacation choices???

Oh Karen - I'm so sorry to hear that, but I do understand. However, I'll miss my impromptu pediatrician. In all seriousness, we're hoping to still be able to cruise in May with everything going on. And, maybe we'll come over to say HI when you're at WDW, since it's close.

I never got a chance to meet you on the last one, I did see your well decorated door when I was in the elevator one day, maybe we will get to meet some other time.

HA! Close! Actually, we would have had to do the cruise between two home games...so we'd have to fly in late Saturday and then fly out by the following Friday. The MAIN reason is we miss long Disney trips. There's so much to do and we haven't had time to do it all in short trips. Plus, this is the first year since 2001 that we've missed MVMCP.....next year we don't want to miss.

Oh, I LOVE how this is framed. I just thought what a great Christmas present for my DH who wants to make our family room into a Disney Room. (And he's the one I had to drag to a DVC appointment in the first place!!!). I am going to check out my local Michael's and see what they can do. Thanks for sharing the pics.

WOW, it really has been quiet around here!!! It must be nice weather everywhere and people are out enjoying it.

Well, after our garage sale yesterday, we were on our way to a birthday party about 45 minutes away. We got on one of the bridges that takes us back over to Tampa and right away, the traffic stopped. Then, on the last entrance ramp to the highway, before the bridge, there was a police car and they were letting people turn around and go up the wrong way of the entrance ramp. It looked like the bridge might have been closed down. So, we turned around like so many others and made our way to one of the other bridges. We found out late last night that an SUV had a tire blowout and ended up going over the bridge into the water. There were 4 people in the car (mom/dad/2 sons). Mom, dad and one son got out ok, but one son was stuck in the car. Two good samaritans happened by (one was a nurse) and dove into the water. One guy got the boy out and the nurse gave him CPR. He's in critical condition, but is alive. No wonder the bridge was all backed up. I sure hope that little boy is ok.
