Wow, everyone's pages look GREAT!!! I really need to get motivated to complete my cruise scrapbook.

I'm totally motivated....I just don't have the time. I tried during naptime the last 2 days, and I just have too much other stuff to do. I was thinking about finishing up this weekend, but it's supposed to finally stop raining and we haven't raked one leaf yet :earseek: and since winter is here, we need to get on that.

Do the leaves fall in Florida? :rotfl2:

Yes, the leaves fall in Florida!! The oak & maple leaves fall all over the place.

What do you think +100 MPH winds do to the trees around here? They not only fall, but they pile up in places you normally don't rake! :teeth:

Darn....that's one for the "reasons to not move to florida" column! :rotfl2: OK--second dumb question of the day--do the leaves change color?? :confused3

I've lived in NYC all my life, you'd be surprise how many crazy things I didn't know when I moved "upstate". People still laugh at me when I ask "country questions". I was always a girl with a lot of book smarts, and absolutely no common sense. :rolleyes1

WOW! I'm honored ask such a dumb question it gets you to sign on and help clear things up for me!

What I was thinking was there aren't oak and maple trees in FL b/c of the 100+mph winds! I thought there were only palm trees....and of course the pine trees at the WL! :rotfl2:

OK, let's try this out....I took pics of all my pages, but I didn't take them out of the page protectors, so don't mind the terrible picture quality. I'm sure you can get an idea of what the pages look like though.

I LOVED YOUR PAGES!!!!
I can't believe you got that done in a day.
You are my Hero!
I get to anal sometimes and stress to much because I want it to be perfect. I need to relax more and just do my pages!

Yeah, we do have a little bit to color changing. Not the brilliant reds & oranges, but they do change a little bit. Plus, our spring starts early, because it starts to get warmer earlier. It seems like one day I see buds on the oak trees, and it seems like the next day they are full leaves.

After my stupid "trees in Florida" questions, I don't think I qualify to be anyone's hero! :rotfl2:

I was super lazy and only matted a couple of pictures. I think that's why I got so many done.

I hate those big drippy pinecones. That was one of the first things we did when we move here--cut down the 8 huge pine trees in the yard. You'd be surprised how much more space we have now!

Hey Chris, nice to see you!!

Just enlist the help of those cute little helpers in your house. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help rake those leaves. :cool1:

When we went out to play this morning, Walker ran to the back of the yard, looking for his pile of leaves. Surprise, surprise, the lawn service was here at 7 a.m. and took that pile of leaves away. Boy, was Walker surprised. Good thing the trees around here still have LOTS of leaves to fall off. :rotfl2:

Our back tree has about 8 leaves left on it. And since I already said how we haven't raked at all....you can only imagine how many leaves are on the ground. :faint: Our front tree hasn't started falling yet, which means the leaves will fall on top of the snow and be there all winter long.
