Yeah, we do have a little bit to color changing. Not the brilliant reds & oranges, but they do change a little bit. Plus, our spring starts early, because it starts to get warmer earlier. I've lived in NYC all my life, you'd be surprise how many crazy things I didn't know when I moved "upstate". People still laugh at me when I ask "country questions". I was always a girl with a lot of book smarts, and absolutely no common sense.

What I was thinking was there aren't oak and maple trees in FL b/c of the 100+mph winds! I thought there were only palm trees....and of course the pine trees at the WL!

When we went out to play this morning, Walker ran to the back of the yard, looking for his pile of leaves. Surprise, surprise, the lawn service was here at 7 a.m. and took that pile of leaves away. Boy, was Walker surprised. Good thing the trees around here still have LOTS of leaves to fall off.
Our front tree hasn't started falling yet, which means the leaves will fall on top of the snow and be there all winter long.
