Let's see who is still reading the thread. Another GTKYKFC :)

1) What is the one thing you did that you didn't think you would on the cruise? Eat Creme Brulee! And I did, and the crystal sugar on top kind of freaked me out a bit. But it was still good, I ate it all!

2) What is the one thing you didn't do that you thought you would on the cruise? Have a konk kooler! I never got one!!

3) What is your favorite memory of the cruise? Oh, there are so many. Besides seeing the girls faces every time they saw Mickey or another character, I'd say all the little goodies on my door from my DIS friends (and meeting them of course)! They made the cruise so much fun!

What a fun picture!

We've got over 600 pictures as well. Not sure any are worth sending in for the contest. Maybe the one with John and Deevee Cee if he'll let me send that one in. :)

When you guys all decide what you are going to send in I hope you'll share them with us here. Can't wait to see what you decide!

I thought I was bad with 300 pictures! I can't imagine taking 600! It will be interesting to see everyone's pictures and fun if we could see each others scrapbooks!

I'm here. :wave2:

Let's see:

1. Does being exhaused count? I didn't realize how much work it would be to keep up with all the different choices and still keep on track with what I wanted to do. There just wasn't time for everything!

2. We wanted to try the Rainforest room and it didn't happen. Next time for sure!

3. Gosh, so many favorites!! The one that warms my heart the most is not from the actual cruise itself. When we dined with Amy & Chris & their girls at Ohanas, as we were walking to our table, Walker took ahold of Madison's hand and showed her the way. It's definately a memory I will cherish because my brut of a son does have a heart of gold when he wants to.

As the fair Mom I am, I have to share the one that sticks with me for Cameron. One day, I walked into the Lab to just check on him and they had my rather quiet/shy son wearing a hard hat, jumping around and waving while they video taped him. I asked when I would get to see that tape and they told me during graduation. They didn't use that clip and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never have believed it happened. After all, Cameron has yet to tell me about the opprotunity he had.

I really can't take credit for the technique, I got the idea here, the instructions are a few posts down from the picture in the thread. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=826364 The only thing I did differently was I didn't actually sew the Mickey head into the shirt, and it still seemed to work fine. I just traced the Mickey head and then rubber banded it. Everyone wondered how I dipped the shirts into the dye so evenly, but the other trick is to use the squirt bottle dye. I just bought one kit in Michaels and had enough to do 8 shirts, plus I have a whole other set of dye that came with the kits.

Thank you! Will you be available to consult with when I get around to making one? It sounds easy but since I have never done one I'm sure I will have questions!

We took over 700 but that includes our days at WDW.

I can't show anyone my scrapbooks.....because I never get around to doing them. I need a week on a cruise by myself with no activities scheduled to complete all I have waiting for me.

Hopefully this winter I'll go to some scrap days to get some out of the way.

1) What is the one thing you did that you didn't think you would on the cruise? I finally got to try out those wonderful chairs on deck 4. I took my book read a little and even fell asleep - at least Dale & Karen said we were sleeping when they walked by!

2) What is the one thing you didn't do that you thought you would on the cruise? Climb the stairs in the lighthouse - it was too dang hot - besides I had to save my energy for the Key West Marathon that Mark & Mary took us on! :rotfl:

3) What is your favorite memory of the cruise? We really enjoyed ourselves on this cruise - there were so many new friends to meet. I loved the Ducky Williams & Jim Lewis presentations! I even had creme brulee everynight for dessert!!! What more could I ask for!

Awesome idea!! I'd also love to see them.

I have one I'd like to send in but it's not of me or my family so I will be checking with someone to see if it's okay. If it is, I'll definate post it.

1) Eat so much! I am so done eating! I need to starve myself until the next cruise. Is anyone else hungry all the time? I say this as I eat my carrot and celery sticks at my desk! Sure would be nice to go up to Beach Blanket for lunch.

2) Spend more time relaxing. There was not enough time! So much to do and see. I never even opened my book.

3) It is hard to pick just one! It was an awesome trip. I really enjoyed watching my girls get excited about things! They loved coming back to our room to see what gifts were left for us, what towel animal was made and finding notes and gifts on our door!

Hi to Everyone! Our home computer is OUT... will be fixed tomorrow, so, this is my first time on since we've been back!

We finally made it home on Sunday! What a WONDERFUL time we had. Brandon has some great memories which he'll never forget. :lovestruc Thank you to so many of you who came and said "Hi" to him. He was surprised many of you knew who he was. (BTW... he LOVED the pillowcase... Thanks!) It was quite different being a full time Aunt for 9 days! To see things through the eyes of a child was precious.

Also a BIG THANKS to the "Foot Fettish Team" for my own personal pedicure bag complete with two tones of green nail polish! :bounce: What a BIG smile came across my face when I found that treat waiting for me. Now that we are home, and I'm semi-unpacked, I am planning on carving out some quality time this weekend for my soon-to-be green toes :goodvibes THANK-YOU!

Thanks too, to those who left messages on our white boards. Brandon looked forward to reading them every day. :flower:

Mark + Mary... I haven't been to the Live thread yet... I hope your special dinner at Palo's was nice.

Hey Cindy! Thanks for yelling out my name at the Beach Club in the lobby. I was running on fumes that night! I'm glad Joe heard you, and I turned around! Isn't that a great place?

Hi to Kay + Harry... saw you guys only a few times.

ARRRGH Matey Linda pirate: , eating together with you and your family was WONDERFUL!!! It felt just like coming home for dinner every night and catching up on the day's activities! Thanks-you again for the time and effort you gave to all of us for the scrapbooking. Start thinking + planning for the October '06 cruise now:Pinkbounc

Scott + Lynn, sharing the shows... especially the Art Linkletter session was SO special. Please let me know if you find the quote he referred to. Keep counting down your retirement!

3Dan... I'm glad we saw you guys at sail-away! Hope you enjoyed the cruise!

Deb! It was great meeting you at AKL and seeing you again on shipboard. Thanks for who you are, and all you do! Brandon filled his lanyard up with all of the special pins he got on the cruise!

HAPPY WEDNESDAY TO ALL! :wave2:

Hi Georgie,

It was nice meeting you. Brandon sure looked happy ever time I saw him. It was wonderful for you to bring him along. Brandon's a very lucky boy to have an aunt and uncle like you are to him.

The Beach Club was definately the place to be. We dined with Mary & Mark, ran into Stacy (Stitch#1) along with her family and Fred (Grumpy1 -- aka Stacy's dad) and his wife.

After dinner, we spent a long time talking with Julie (Chipscinderelly) and Matt.

Was anyone else there that we missed? ;)

Cindy - i can't believe how fast time flew by that night. When you stopped over at Boardwalk with the box it was what? 6 pm When we got done with dinner it was past 9:30. Time sure flies when you are having fun. We saw Julie and Matt as they were getting off the boat while we were getting on to head back to Boardwalk! It may have been a 4 night cruise, but when you add in the night before party and the two extra day's/nights we spent with our fellow DISers (we had dinner with Robin and her DH the night before) it made for a very fun-filled week!

Just posting a very quick note and saying that I very much enjoyed meeting everyone before, during and after the cruise. It was very nice to go back to the Stateroom from time to time and find items in our Fish Extender. Have never used "green" polish, but guess there is a first for everything. :goodvibes THANKS for all the kind conversation from everyone. It really turned out to be a WONDERFUL cruise

We are now off to Hawaii for a couple of weeks and then it will be time for resting and catching up on normal life

I noticed on the DVC site they have a day by day description of the cruise. I really wish they would stop telling eveyone how much fun it was. I'm having nightmares of not being able to book the next one now that the word is out!! :rotfl:

Seriously though, their description doesn't even come close to describing how awesome the cruise was and what a great time we had. I can't wait to book the next one so I can start planning!!

Diana - I noticed that too and thought the same thing. Course I'm thinking it for all of you since we can't go. I also think they forgot to update it to show the fireworks on the right night but I could have read it too fast.

Ok so did anyone else add on and get their docs yet? If so did you open the box and laugh at the "gift" (not the litho)? We are now wondering what to do with 3 of those!

We didn't add on and are kicking ourselves b/c with this other cruise coming up, we are definitely going to need more points. DH has me looking at resales now.

Don't keep me in suspense. What's the other gift?? PM me is you don't want to spoil the surprise.

No add on here - would love to know what the gift was as well.

Here are my answers:

1) What is the one thing you did that you didn't think you would on the cruise? Go to Palo. We hadn't planned on it at all, but it was great!

2) What is the one thing you didn't do that you thought you would on the cruise? Snorkel on CC. Tried on the adult beach, but the sand was too churned up and you couldn't see anything.

3) What is your favorite memory of the cruise? As everyone else has said there are so many. It has to be the friendships. I have had such an awesome time over the past 13 months planning this cruise and getting to know all of you. It was so wonderful to spend time with so many of you. There is one other person I got to know over this time and I consider him a friend as well. The smile on his face when I asked him a certain question I think is my most favorite memory. :)

Oh boy! More gifts? I'm still trying to figure out when we are going to squeeze in a trip to Hong Kong in between Maui, 11 day Disney Cruise and the DVC Owner's Cruise for 2006.

Maybe my docs will be in the mail too when I get home tonight!
