Sept 4-8 2005 Wonder S.S. Member Cruise! Part 3

We're not packed yet, but have everything layed out or hanging up on a rack in our dining room.

I've learned from years of cruising to not pack everything.

The challenge this time is packing for the road, then our two nights at Disney, then the cruise, then two more nights at Disney, then the road again!

News just in......just got my SS Member Cruise News, Sixth Edition.

Looks like we have Art Linkletter, Susan Egan, and many others.

Also, Rebecca Godsil is not joining us, but our new ambassador will be Christoper White.

Okay, still reading my edition.

Linda

:confused3 :confused3 why o why don't I ever get these SS Member Cruise newsletter? I email them and I email them to tell them I am not getting them, but still I don't get them.....must be a conspiracy! I'll read Mary's!!!!! :rotfl2: :wizard:

I love to pack!

I do lay some things out during the weeks before, but the actual packing will take place Friday morning before we leave for the airport at 1:30. I have my list and I will check and recheck it before we leave so we don't forget anything. If it's not on the list it doesn't go! Better make sure I add John's name to my list :rotfl:

Don't feel bad. I got them in the beginning, but I don't get them anymore. Very wierd!! But, lucky for us, we have great DIS friends that let us know what's going on.

Guess they decided when passengers were taking 2 or 3 dozen items each to the captain for the captain to sign, they had to change the way they were doing it.

Linda

OMG, I hate when people go overboard like that. If everyone was just reasonable, they wouldn't have to impose these kind of rules. It's the reason why so many public figures won't sign anything anymore... they know it's going straight to E-Bay...

Packing isn't my favorite thing to do, but I will start making lists this weekend to get everything in order. I won't actually pack until Friday, though. I'll do laundry all day on Friday, and then start putting things in piles to go in the suitcases.

However, I do admit to putting lots of extra clothes in for the kids. But, my worry is that they will get one really dirty and I'll need a change of clothes.

I'm really not feeling changing outfits. Took me to long to decide. :snooty:

ROFL... see, if all of you were procrastinators like me, you wouldn't have your outfits planned out yet, and you'd be just fine! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I agree! They ruin it for the rest of us who just want a nice momento. Very sad.

I have next Tuesday penciled in as my official pack day. Wednesday is last minute shopping day. And Thursday is sit around all day and think about what you forgot to pack day. Our flight leaves Friday at 7am. Looks like I'm in for another busy week.

Luckily, I won't have 4 kids to take care of next week, so I'll be able to participate more here! I never thought I'd be thankful just to have my 2 kids under 2. I can only say that for 2 more days.....Emma will be 2 on Sunday. :cool1:

Hey now lets keep it clean!
This is a dis board now! :rotfl2:

The listing and cover is up on the photo gallery page. The actual pdf of the mini-navigator will be up this weekend after everyone gets a quick last look.

I just went to the DVC member's Cruise website and there's no new newsletter even posted there! AND I didn't get one emailed to me!

Did anyone else hear the sad news from Florida?

Two people killed by hurricane Katrina.

How sad.

Prayers for all of them.

Stay safe!
