Cindy,

Yes you can put money on your account ahead of time. You can call and charge any amount you want to you account. Then when you get on it will appear as a credit. We used all ours up but I believe if you have any left over they just credit it back to your card on file.

The q&a was only for people having issues getting into chat, sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

But, it might help for people who have been in chat to list so we have some idea what does work, so keep going then!
I guess I did okay then. I don't really have any problems getting INTO chat, but have problems STAYING there! Have also tried using the Mac version of IE.

I tried to get into chat last night but I couldn't connect. I know I was able to get in before so I'm not sure what's going on. I can't believe we are 3 weeks away! Work and home have been crazy! DS goes back to college on August 28 so we have been trying to get everything in order for him. Now I can try to start focusing on the cruise! I can't wait. Annmarie

Good morning!!

I have my TV tuned in to QVC and I just bought the TSV too!!! It looks like a great kit and also a great deal.

I WILL NOT BUY THIS.
I WILL NOT BUY THIS.
I WILL NOT BUY THIS.

I made a promise to myself to use up some of the scrapping stuff I have before I buy more, unless it is a SPECIFIC item to finish a SPECIFIC page.

My scrapping closet overfloweth... and it's a walk-in! :rotfl:

Stacy - I stayed up until 11 pm last night and got the TSV in beige!

Watched a little bit this morning but it was Marie Osmond and sewing and didn't do much for me.

I got the Beige also! :Pinkbounc
I picked that because it's a neutral color so it can work with most anything.
I saw Marie Osmond this morning too. That really wasn't a bad price for that sewing machine, especially for what it can do.
My mom has a much fancier sewing machine that does embroidery (sample shown on Grumpy 1 posts) and hers cost quite a bit more.

Taking a break from QVC right now till they show more scrapbooking stuff.

:flower: Good morning gang!!! :flower:

Does anyone have there tv on QVC?
I got my TSV. That card/scrapbook kit.
Can't wait for them to deliver that box!
I got mine at midnight. I ordered the pink one, since I have 2 girls. I think that it's going to be really fun to do.

Hat, shirt and pants for DH's Pirate costume are done. Now on to the coat.
It's 90 degrees in Indianapolis but it feels like more than 96. Good day to stay indoors, watch baseball and cut out pattern pieces.

I found it at:

and printed it out for the cruise. I think it will be fun looking for all the Hidden Mickeys.

Gary & I just got home from a LONG lunch with Mark & Mary. Both are genuinely nice people and we're lucky to have had the opportunity to hear first hand their experiences.

We spent 4 hours chatting about the upcoming cruise. For those of us who are sailing for the first time, I can tell you the next 3 weeks are going to be even harder now that I know even more about what to expect. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. Mary brought her scrapbooks from a couple past cruises. WOW!!!! There really isn't any way I could describe what I saw in words. Let's just say, I felt like I needed to close my mouth as it was hanging open in "awe".

Mark & Mary have so much knowledge that they willingly shared. What they have posted here pales in compared to what they shared with us today. By no means do I mean that they haven't tried, but face-to-face conversation is so much better than what can be conveyed on a message board.

I wish all of you could have been there with us. I hope you have the chance to chat with them during the upcoming meets and while we're sailing. If you do, I can guarantee you'll have a very down to earth and pleasant experience.

Thanks for a great afternoon, Mark & Mary.

When Ruth's grandson Jordan was 5, he always told everyone he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up. One day he was running through the house, banged into the corner of a chair, and hurt his eye. He cried for a while and kept saying, "Oh no, oh no, now I can't be a doctor when I grow up."

Ruth assured him he could still be a doctor and Jordan kept telling her he couldn't. Finally she asked, "Why can't you be a doctor?"

Holding one hand over his eye, Jordan said, "Because now I will have to be a pirate!"

Aw Cindy - I'm blushing! Thanks to you and Gary for a very enjoyable time. We love talking about DCL and sharing our experiences. Especially with new cruisers. I can't believe that 3 weeks from right now we'll be at the Bon Voyage party. We are in for some great fun!

I keep forgetting to say how pleased we are that we could get a DIS Cruise shirt! :Pinkbounc :jumping3:
Since we did not know we would be on the ship until July 5, we missed out on some of that early chatting and could have missed out on a shirt. :guilty:
But we got one.
DH :earsboy: has been wearing it--to practice for the Pre Cruise DIS meet I think. :jumping3: I will be wearing my Cruising Stitch shirt. :Pinkbounc Looking forward to meeting you all!!

Yes, M&M, thank you for sharing your DIS-cruising experiences with us as well as an enoyable afternoon. You've just upped our anticipation ante.
22 more days - :hourglass

Here's a photo reminder of the fun we had this afternoon. Left to right is Gary (Garfield), Cindy (cgcw), Mary (WDWLVR), and Mark (MarkRG). We met at Macaroni Grill and it was an afternoon filled with good food, good friends, and lots of laughs. A great way to count down to the cruise where there will be more good food, more good friends, and lots more laughs!

Yeah a TOP shared with Cindy, Gary & Mark!

Does anyone remember a discussion about crocheted flip flops back when the blinky ones were being discussed? :confused3 I cannot find it even doing a search and wondered how they are made. Someone said her kids used to make them. Right? Anyone know what I'm talking about or did I dream it?

I think Amy was talking about them but she said she didn't know how to crochet. I found this pattern for you though: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/cff-flipFlops.html
